(Martin Walsh) House Democrat leaders reportedly discussed the idea of New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez getting a “restraining order” against Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Greene has confronted AOC on the House floor and has been practically begging Ocasio-Cortez to debate over her socialist Green New Deal.

According to Politico, Democrats floated potential legal action but said the New York Democrat would likely have to file the order herself.

It is well known that Greene has no love lost for Ocasio-Cortez, but things have gotten even more intense in their feud.

Taylor Greene shredded Ocasio-Cortez in a Twitter screed over the 30-year-old Democratic-Socialist’s comments on the Israel and Palestine conflict.

The comment came after Ocasio-Cortez feigned concern over the rise in antisemitic attacks, you know the ones they used to blame Donald Trump for, in  New York.

“We will never, ever tolerate antisemitism here in NY or anywhere in the world. The recent surge in attacks is horrifying. We stand with our Jewish communities in condemning this violence,” she said.

Attacks in New York on Jewish people have gone insane. On Thursday a Jewish man was beaten in the middle of Times Square by a pro-Palestinian mob as other Jewish people were accosted by them.

As for Greene and Ocasio-Cortez, this is not the first, and likely will not be the last, run-in these two have had.

One of the most recent examples of the feud between the two happened on earlier this month when Greene attempt to confront Ocasio-Cortez as the New York representative avoided her, then whined about security.

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene aggressively confronted Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Wednesday and falsely accused her of supporting “terrorists,” leading the New York congresswoman’s office to call on leadership to ensure that Congress remains “a safe, civil place for all Members and staff.”

Two Washington Post reporters witnessed Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.) exit the House chamber late Wednesday afternoon ahead of Greene (Ga.), who shouted “Hey Alexandria” twice in an effort to get her attention. When Ocasio-Cortez did not stop walking, Greene picked up her pace and began shouting at her and asking why she supports Antifa, a loosely knit group of far-left activists, and Black Lives Matter, falsely labeling them “terrorist” groups. Greene also shouted that Ocasio-Cortez was failing to defend her “radical socialist” beliefs by declining to publicly debate the freshman from Georgia.

“You don’t care about the American people,” Greene yelled at Cortez. “Why do you support terrorists and Antifa?”

Cortez only turned one time to look at Greene and show her exasperation but did not stop to actually engage with the congresswoman.

“Representative Greene tried to begin an argument with Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez and when Rep. Ocasio-Cortez tried to walk away, Congresswoman Greene began screaming and called Rep. Ocasio-Cortez a terrorist sympathizer,” Lauren Hitt, a spokeswoman for Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, said. “We hope leadership and the Sergeant at Arms will take real steps to make Congress a safe, civil place for all Members and staff — especially as many offices are discussing reopening. One Member has already been forced to relocate her office due to Congresswoman Greene’s attacks.”

But before she left, Rep. Greene talked briefly to reporters and shot straight from the hip.

“She’s a chicken, she doesn’t want to debate the Green New Deal,” she said. “These members are cowards. They need to defend their legislation to the people. That’s pathetic.”

She took to Twitter to further hit at AOC.

“And any US Member of Congress supporting terrorists Hamas should be expelled. Any member supporting and fundraising for criminals in Antifa/BLM riots in American cities should be expelled. That’s the #JihadSquad and the VP,” she said.
