(Stillness in the Storm Editor) There’s a compelling case to be made for the fact something strange is happening with the coronavirus outbreak. The media seems to either underreport the truth impact or feed into the hysteria. The alternative media is similarly undecided, with some claiming it’s part of the depopulation agenda while others suggest it is a cover for mass arrests. The following are two articles by the mainstream media attacking those who support the mass arrest of the deep state theory.
To be clear, there is nothing but rumors to work with. That said, as we clearly outlined below, there’s also good reason to suspect good change is indeed on the horizon.
Related 4 Ways Coronavirus is Helping to Takedown the Deep State
If the mass arrests theory put forth by QAnon followers is nothing but a baseless conspiracy theory, why not clearly deal a blow to it once and for all. As you’ll see, the reporting is the usual MSM propaganda.
There’s no proof or evidence cited that disproves the mass arrests theory, other than incredulity. But the unbelievability of a claim doesn’t make it untrue. For centuries people believed the earth was flat, and rejected global earth models. Nevertheless, we still live on a globe-earth.
Given the empty response on the media’s part, I’d say the mass arrest theory is still plausible.
Of course, as we’ve said many times on this site, discernment is advisable. Just because we haven’t disproven a possibility doesn’t mean we can unquestionably believe the reverse.
Keep your eyes peeled for updates and media spin around this story.

Mark Taylor: Trump is Using Coronavirus as a Distraction to Purge the Deep State
by Beth Stoneburner, March 13th, 2020
Christian conspiracy theorist Mark Taylor is no stranger to “too ludicrous to be remotely possible” paranoia. His latest delusion is no exception.
He said on a recent episode of The MC Files, hosted by fellow conspiracist Christopher McDonald, that the coronavirus was just a cover story Donald Trump was using to distract everyone while he arrested hordes of journalists, business leaders, and others in the media who are part of a large satanic pedophile ring. (It’s a rehash of the QAnon lie that Trump will secretly purge members of the “Deep State.”)
“They’re using the coronavirus as a cover to go in, shut places down, and go in and start making arrests,” Taylor said. “Are they pulling these guys out, like [GOP Rep.] Matt Gaetz, are they getting them out of D.C. for a reason?”
“They’re pulling these guys out of D.C., the good guys, before they lock D.C. down, possibly, and go in and really start arresting people,” Taylor speculated. “Or could they be sending these guys home, and then they lock D.C. down in a way so that it’s secure, and then they go get these guys at their houses? I don’t know.”“The corona thing I believe is a front, it’s a cover as an excuse to be able to lock stuff down, and go in and get some of these people out of here,” he added. “This to me is a good thing.”
That theory makes about as much sense as Hillary Clinton operating a pedophile ring in the basement of a pizza restaurant: It’s pure fiction.
But then when you’re a professional conspirator, you have to keep making stuff up to stay relevant.

No, Tom Hanks Wasn’t Arrested — but an Internet Hoax Says He Was
by Abi Travis, March 16th, 2020
In a time where many things feel uncertain and up in the air, it’s not uncommon for some people to fall prey to a range of conspiracy theories. Thanks to the arrival of COVID-19 aka the coronavirus, those conspiracy theories are out in full force. One of the latest theories making the rounds is that beloved actor Tom Hanks was arrested (rather than simply being quarantined due to illness). Was Tom Hanks arrested?
Was Tom Hanks arrested?
Let’s just get this out of the way: No. No, Tom Hanks was not arrested. He and his wife Rita Wilson tested positive for the coronavirus while in Australia and were put into quarantine in order to prevent the spread of the virus. He’s not in jail. He’s in Australia. Pretty big difference.
Many QAnon promoters are speculating that the COVID-19 pandemic is a "cover story" for "the storm" that is supposed to purge the world of bad people.

So what’s with the random theory going around that he was? Well, as with most conspiracy theories, it’s complicated and also pretty buck wild. Depending on how plugged-in to internet conspiracy theories you are, you may have already heard about QAnon. It’s a far-right conspiracy theorist group that believes (among other things) that Donald Trump has a well-laid plan to arrest a bunch of Democrats for pedophilia. They refer to this plan as “The Storm,” and they think the coronavirus is part of it.
Twitter user @travis_view (who also co-hosts The QAnon Anonymous Podcast) noticed that as news of the coronavirus began spreading, so too did the theories surrounding the virus. Specifically, QAnon-ers started speculating that the pandemic is actually a cover story for “The Storm” that Trump is sending to purge the world of bad people. Bad people like… Tom Hanks. One of the world’s most beloved actors of all time.
This isn’t the first time Tom Hanks has been targeted by QAnon.
QAnon has accused many celebrities of pedophilia over the past few years, and even though literally none of those accusations have proven true, they have shown no signs of stopping. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were among some of the other high-profile celebs targeted by QAnon and she tweeted about being stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to dealing with the group of hoaxers.
u know what is not great? I still have to read on social media many times a day that John and I are pedophiles and look at photoshopped/miscaptioned photos of us on "Epstein Island" and I just have to deal with it because "people are crazy these days"

“If I take legal action, it gets worse because then, to them, it’s true and I’m trying to ‘silence’ them,” she said. With that in mind, the best reaction to these unfounded conspiracy theories is no reaction at all. You most likely won’t see Tom Hanks make a statement about his “arrest” because that could just feed the trolls. He has more important things to focus on, anyway — like resting up and getting healthy!
As the coronavirus pandemic continues to affect the world, more and more hoaxes will continue to make the rounds on the internet. It’s really important that we all do our part to prevent the spread — of both dangerous diseases and dangerous misinformation.
As you focus on washing your hands, staying home, and social distancing, also keep in mind to be healthily skeptical of the information you come across online. Be discerning, and stay safe out there, folks!
Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?
The preceding information is an update from one of the many alternative media persons driven to help humanity by providing important information. Updates of this sort, as cursory as they are, help individuals feel connected to the greater works taking place at this time as well as providing a personal glimpse into the mind of a content creator. It also serves to humanize such individuals and reveal to the public that alternative media is largely populated by people that work long hours providing information usually for free or for little financial compensation.
