You got part of it right – the headline and the first paragraph. The first paragraph, which agrees with the headline says: “62 percent of Americans believe that the media has exaggerated the threat of coronavirus, according to a new Pew Research poll.”
Then in the second paragraph you say the opposite: “ The results of the survey found that 63 percent of Americans believe the CDC and public health officials have got the risk of COVID-19 about right, with just 21 per cent believing they have exaggerated the risks.”
If you take a look at the presented graphical data, you will find that is shows: 62% say they exaggerated the risks, 30% say they got it just about right, and 8% say they have understated the risks.
Please correct the incorrect statement as it does not truthfully represent the data.

Read more carefully. The first stat relates to the media. The second relates to the official response of the CDC.
