Hello and welcome to our blog: Stillness in the Storm!

Who are we? – Justin Deschamps and Julian Robles created SITS. Two beings staunchly devoted to discovering the truth in our own lives and making the world a better place through living that truth.But what is The Truth? What is a truth? How do we tell the difference, and what does this ultimately mean for ourselves and what is happening on Earth?Collectively we can discover this and more firmly place it within our understanding. Searching for truth, verifying it with persistence and open-mindedness is our primary goal.The Stillness in the Storm Show and Blog is an ongoing conversation about world events, hidden truths, and empowering information; how our thoughts, emotions and actions mold our collective reality. A different perspective on MSM (mainstream news), practical knowledge, news on health and wellness, alternative history, science, law, and much more!

We attempt to understand our experience holistically, and as such share any and everything when appropriate.

You and your perspective is an essential part our collective desire to make the world a better place. As such SITS is for the people and works with the people to expand our collective knowledge of truth. We are all in this together, collectively generating the aggregate world we see. When we make our choices conscious we gain the power to direct events towards a beneficial end; one that honors all life in truth and love under will.

About Justin

I was born in Portland Maine, and grew up in the Boston area. As a Physics, Psychology and Spirituality student, I have been searching for truth all my life, looking to make sense of all the insanity in this world. In that time, I have developed a holistic body of knowledge linking science, philosophy and spirituality into a single framework of ever expanding understanding.

I want share what I have with the world, becoming teacher to some and student to all others. My goal is to help myself and others become better truth seekers, and with the wisdom gained in the process, make this planet the paradise it was meant to be. I am just happy to give back to a world and universe I have received so much from.

The path of truth in a world of deception is not a lonely journey; Together we can make this world a better place. Each of us is essential for gaining a complete picture of the whole truth. Once we set aside egocentric concepts of what is “right and wrong,” we can begin to walk the path of truth as one people, united for change. To find that inner light and radiate it outwardly for all to see.

About Julian

Julian transitioned into spirit on August 25th 2015. He was an essential part of SITS, providing creative graphic design, social media promotion, research, writing, editing and so much more. While it will be impossible to replace Julian’s unique essence, the work of sharing truth and empower others will continue on. His life work will be added to the countless list of souls who incarnated here to be an agent for consciousness evolution. You will be loved for all time Julian.

What content is shared here and why?

This blog is NOT the source of absolute truth, we simply share data and information we are interested in and could contain a level of truth to it; depending on how the raw data is interpreted. Essentially anything we have reviewed or are reviewing now could be shared on this blog. As such, one should not conclude if a post is shared on this blog, it means we believe it to be 100% true, as presented. Many times we share data we know to be suspect, looking past the surface meaning for correlations and connections. In a grander perspective, all data has value and can be used to further consciousness evolution.

Most posts contain a preamble written by Julian or Justin, which appears as green text. The opinions and theorems provided therein, are just that, and not meant to be held as a flag of truth. We share our thoughts with an air of conclusiveness, but always perspectives are held in degrees of certainty and probability; not absolute or blind belief. These are discussion points about what could be true, in the goal of creating discussion with our audience. As always, leave your comments to further the conversation.

How to find a blog post or topic on SITS?

There is a search bar at the top of the blog, where you can search for a term or topic, and it usually pulls up related blog posts. There is also browse by category on the left-hand side, and labels appear at the bottom of each post, which when clicked on retrieve an up to date list of similarly labeled material.

Finding an older blog post can be difficult. One way to do this is by visiting a search engine like Google or Start Page with a search term “[insert search term here] Stillness in the Storm” affixed to the end of a topic. For example, searching for “Entrainment Stillness in the Storm” – provides a list of articles in the search result. The term “sitsshow” produces the same result.

Truth Discovery – Building Real Knowledge

In our modern world, we have become dependent on experts and Gurus to guide us along, sometimes placing our faith in the hands of others without question. But only through gaining Personal Knowledge (Intrinsic Knowledge) can we empower ourselves with skills vs memorize facts.

If one wants to be a sculptor, then they must learn the trade of sculpting; if one wants to converse with a Spanish speaker, so must they learn Spanish. Extrinsic Knowledge, such as a recipe or instruction booklet, is not Personal Knowledge, as we have no grasp of the principles at work and the reasons why we follow the steps provided; we do not know how to customize the recipe to create something else.

Our Focus

The emphasis on this blog is to share data completely and transparently – not as self proclaimed Gurus or experts, but as fellow truth seekers on the path towards understanding. We attempt to understand all things inclusively, and as such have developed knowledge we feel is important to share. We share data and our perspectives as an open dialog, not as concrete fact or unquestionable truth. We strongly encourage discussion, counter opinions and perspectives, so we all can come to a more clear understanding.

It is our view, that the world we live in is enshrouded by a haze of ignorance and resulting chaos, which can be healed by spreading knowledge as far and wide as possible. True Freedom is an aspiration we feel can be attained by sharing knowledge. We do not claim to have absolute truth, but in the sharing process, we can discuss our points of view openly and honestly, assisting each other in gaining a greater understanding. We feel this will help each person become a change agent to undo the mind control and slavery which has dominated Earth’s history for thousands of years.

True Freedom requires complete knowledge, and in an our informational age, the mysteries of the ages are waiting at our fingertips.

Discernment and Data Processing

We acknowledge that ALL data has value. Instead of ‘cherry picking’ Data we want to hold up as ‘true,’ we focus on all data, including mis-information, encouraging each individual to put the data on the table, and use their discernment to distill it for the truth it contains. For a lie or falsehood is only ever the truth rearranged to misrepresent a thing in reality. Sharing our perspectives helps purify each participating individuals knowledge base, allowing us to see more of reality for what it is, enhancing our creative talents, moral fiber and improving life when acted upon.Comment PolicyAt this time we do not moderate comments, as we greatly value the sharing of each individual’s point of view. SITS blog is a venue where Data we come across can be shared with all of you. If we look past personal bias, and distill the Absolute Data within each post, our natural intuition will assemble these nuggets together and reveal a greater truth.

We do not know what that truth is yet, of course. We are discovering that together as a whole by sharing and discussing our unique perspective. Share your thoughts and we will all come to a greater understanding as one.

Advertisements generate funds which helps us continue our work in sharing information; all our energy goes into doing our part to bring about harmonious global change.

We do our best to use ads which are small and unobtrusive, so as not to hinder the viewing experience.

Julian also has an Etsy shop, where you can find large print’s of his photography work – when purchased – help support both our efforts; another form of value exchange.
