(Jon Dougherty) Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg appeared surprised to learn that black voters are increasingly frustrated with the Biden administration during an interview on a popular New York City-based morning radio program on Friday.

Appearing on “The Breakfast Club,” host Charlamagne Tha God told the former mayor of South Bend, Ind., “You do realize, Pete, a lot of black people feel like Democrats have kept no promises since they’ve been in office.”
“Really?” a surprised Buttigieg responded.
“Yes,” Charlemagne said. “Rev. Al [Sharpton] has said that a million times.”
The transportation secretary then said he understands.
“I get it because the work is not done. But the reason I say ‘really’ is we just passed one of the biggest pieces of infrastructure legislation in American history. It was a promise … and we actually did it,” he said in reference to the $1.2 trillion legislation signed by President Joe Biden in November.
The host said he was happy to see the infrastructure bill pass but added that “those are big broad things, and that’s great. But I’m talking about things … like the George Floyd Policing Act and … our voting rights,” a reference to claims on the Democrat left that voter integrity legislation in GOP-led states is somehow making it harder or impossible for minorities to cast ballots.
Buttigieg agreed, stating, “You’re absolutely right. That work is not done. That work has to get done, and it’s unacceptable where we are right now.”

The Daily Wire noted further:
The former Democratic presidential candidate made headlines earlier last week for his appearance on “The View” when he agreed that Florida’s “Parental Rights in Education” law could “kill kids.”
When asked by “The View” co-host Ana Navarro if he agreed with his spouse Chasten Buttigieg that the Florida law could “kill kids,” Pete responded, “Yeah, he’s right, and I think every law ought to be judged for the effect it’s going to have on real people in real life. And I get the political reasons why they’re doing this.”
“I think about it and Chasten and I talk about this a lot,” Buttigieg told “The View”. “If our kids were in a classroom in a state where one of these laws passed.”
He went on to falsely claim that the Florida law would not allow children of gay parents to talk with their teachers about what they did “with their two dads.”
And he wrongly concluded that the law also applies to high school teachers (the Florida legislation specifically forbids discussions or curriculum dealing with gender issues and sexual orientation only for K-3 students).
“Is the teacher supposed to, you know, a high school teacher supposed to go through every book and make sure that if there’s ever a picture of married couples in those books they tear out any page where it isn’t a straight couple?” he asked.
Last month, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) took a political potshot at Buttigieg and his spouse.
The firebrand Republican implored the two men to “stay out of our girls’ bathrooms” when she spoke at a rally headlined by former President Donald Trump.
“You know what? Pete Buttigieg can take his electric vehicles and his bicycles, and he and his husband can stay out of our girls’ bathrooms,” she said as the crowd cheered.
She also took another swipe at an LGBTQ topic when she laid the smackdown on college swimmer Lia Thomas.
“And old Lia Thomas, Lia’s going to have to remember his name is William, and he needs to go back to men’s swimming because we’re going to kick the biological men out of the women’s sports,” she said as the crowd cheered again.

The news is important to all people because it is where we come to know new things about the world, which leads to the development of more life goals that lead to life wisdom. The news also serves as a social connection tool, as we tend to relate to those who know about and believe the things we do. With the power of an open truth-seeking mind in hand, the individual can grow wise and the collective can prosper.

The truth is – he doesn’t care! This is also why he managed to climb the ladder in record time, just as Jacinda did.
