It appears POTUS is finally taking a stand against censorship on the internet. This issue is something that the President can intervene in because a public square is a lawfully protected space. A people have the collective right to exchange information, conduct business and do commerce in a public square.
When even one individual has their right violated, through unlawful censorship, a valid cause in law now exists wherein appointed officials can take action. The fact this hasn’t happened yet speaks to the corruption of government. But at any time, someone elected into an official position can take a stand, which it appears Trump is now doing.

A Public Square: A Lawfully Protected Space
By de facto use, social media spaces have become public squares—people engage in activities that make that space a public square because it is used in that way.
Whether social media giants intended to make their platforms public squares doesn’t matter, they have encouraged users to use them as such. This creates a lawful relationship that the government, through Congress, the judiciary, or the executive branch, can step in to regulate and protect.
Despite the fact Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and the like, are legally defined as private organizations, their activities encompass the public square jurisdiction, and as such, any use of such a space they enjoy is lawfully given, by implied or explicit conveyance, to these social media organizations.
Simply stated: social media giants cannot and do not have the right to do whatever they want. They don’t have the right to arbitrarily censor users they don’t like, especially for political reasons. As such, the people, by and through the government, have the right to demand redress when these spaces have been violated by the very people in charge of protecting them. If a government fails to hear the people, that government loses lawful standing, giving the people a valid cause in law to organize and take action.

Custodians of a Public Square
Twitter, as just one of many social media giants, are custodians of a public square space—they don’t own this space, they manage it for the people.
From the lawful perspective of a public square, Twitter only exists as a custodian because we the people allow them to. They must honor their lawful mandate to maintain a public square for all people to use freely, without censorship. They only time they can censor a user’s free speech is when it has been materially demonstrated that the user used their free speech to do harm to another or incite violence.
Many voices have been censored on Twitter, as just one example. An examination of the basis of this censorship reveals that many are speaking to issues that are controversial, like human trafficking. But this speech is hardly harmful.
In short, this is political censorship—the silencing of free speech so that an element within society can maintain power or advantage.
The so-called Deep State is the shadowy group apparently orchestrating this censorship, which is obvious when one considers the removal of users like Alex Jones, Paul Joseph Watson, and many others. While their posts might be controversial, even provocational, they are not overtly harmful.

In the final analysis, it’s painfully apparent that social media giants have violated their lawful mandate, committed grievous harm against the people, and are guilty of the very oppression they claim to guard against.
We the people have always had the right to stand up and stop this.
Below are a series of tweets by POTUS stating that he is aware of the censorship.
He appears to be using the public space of Twitter to air the grievances of the people, likely as an effort to rally public support for an action that he could spearhead to end these censorship policies.
How can it be possible that James Woods (and many others), a strong but responsible Conservative Voice, is banned from Twitter? Social Media & Fake News Media, together with their partner, the Democrat Party, have no idea the problems they are causing for themselves. VERY UNFAIR!

I would argue, that even if POTUS is taking a stand, as it appears he is, we should not sit back and wait for the cavalry.
If you recognize the value of free speech, it’s time to work with others to form coalitions to fight to protect this sacred right.
Whether you live in the US or not, free speech is a right all people are entrusted with.
The constitution doesn’t give people rights, it defines rights that all people, regardless of where they live, are entitled to, using a theistic argument.
However, a right that isn’t invoked has no power.
For the people, our knowledge of our inalienable rights along with taking action to protect them is what ensures we can use them without interference.
Lawfully, a government is created to protect the rights of the people. When a government fails to honor their sacred duty, the people can, and should, work to correct the situation.
Our children should grow up in a world where sharing ideas freely and respectfully can occur without interference.
