(Kyle Becker) The Great State of Arizona is putting an end to the coronavirus lockdowns and reopening its state for business. The state’s governor, Doug Ducey, stated that Arizona will reopen all businesses at 100 percent capacity.

“We’ve learned a lot over the past year,” Ducey said in a statement. “Our businesses have done an excellent job at responding to this pandemic in a safe and responsible way. We will always admire the sacrifice they and their employees have made and their vigilance to protect against the virus.”
“We withstood the calls from the extremes on both sides, and we will continue to ignore them,” he added. “We always knew that fighting this virus would be dependent on the personal responsibility of everyday Arizonans.”
In addition, several states are loosening their coronavirus restrictions.
“This past week, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Virginia, North Carolina, Arkansas, Kentucky, South Carolina, Michigan, Louisiana, and California and Connecticut all loosened coronavirus restrictions based on declining infection numbers,” ABC reported.
“Those restrictions were in regard to business capacity, curfews, social gatherings and entertainment venues,” the report added. “Those states did not alter their mask policies.”
Connecticut announced it was reopening its state for business on Thursday.
“Effective March 19 … Connecticut is lifting ALL capacity limits on restaurants, retail, libraries, personal services, indoor recreation, gyms, museums, offices & houses of worship,” reported New York affiliate NBC 4.
The State of Texas got the ball rolling on Tuesday.
“So today, I am issuing a new executive order that rescinds most of the earlier executive orders,” Governor Greg Abbott announced. “Effective next Wednesday, all businesses of any type are allowed to open 100 percent.”
“That includes any type of entity in Texas,” the governor continued. “Also, I am ending the statewide mask mandate.”
Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves followed Texas by announcing that the state is also reintroducing freedom in its state.
“Starting tomorrow, we are lifting all of our county mask mandates and businesses will be able to operate at full capacity without any state-imposed rules. Our hospitalizations and case numbers have plummeted, and the vaccine is being rapidly distributed. It is time!” he tweeted.
Overall, five states have either ended or will soon mask mandates. Along with Texas, the list includes Mississippi, Iowa, Montana, and North Dakota.
Hopefully, Arizonas will soon also be able to put their useless cloth masks where they belong: In the trashcan.
