(Cullen McCue) One official put the number in the “thousands” according to the Associated Press

Two U.S. officials have stated that “many” Haitian migrants camped under a Texas bridge are being released into the United States, per a report from the AP. This contradicts previous reports that the Biden Administration was planning to ramp up deportation flights.
More than 10,000 mostly Haitian migrants seeking illegal entry into the U.S. remain camped under a bridge in Del Rio, Texas. Internal documents obtained by NBC News over the weekend supposedly revealed that the federal government planned to immediately ramp up deportation flights. Such flights to Haiti have been suspended following a recent earthquake in the country. Another document alleged that the federal government would be increasing “lateral flights” where Haitian migrants would be flown to other border processing centers in order to alleviate the pressure on Del Rio.
According to the documents, ICE was supposed to be upping deportation flights to eight a week over the current week before increasing that number to ten in following weeks. This does not appear to be happening, however. Haitians have been freed on a “very, very large scale” in recent days, according to one U.S. official who estimated the number to be in the thousands.
Many have been released with notices to appear at an immigration office within 60 days, though many illegal immigrants never show up to these hearings and remain in the U.S. illegally. A second anonymous official told the Associated Press that large numbers of Haitians were being processed under immigration laws and not being placed on expulsion flights to Haiti that started Sunday.
Mackenson Veillard, a Haitian migrant, was processed and released three hours after leaving the Del Rio migrant camp. “I felt so stressed,” Veillard said. “But now, I feel better. It’s like I’m starting a new life,” he added in praise of the Biden regime.
Upwards of 10,000 Haitian migrants remain in a makeshift camp on the border with Del Rio with the crowd more than doubling in one night just days ago. A now-debunked story earlier went viral in which border patrol agents were accused of “whipping” migrants while on horseback. As National File previously reported, it has been determined that the alleged “whips” depicted in the viral photographs were actually horse reins.

How did the very poor Haitians get a plane flight here? Who paid for the flight? They were dropped off in Mexico after the plane flight? Where in Mexico? Then they walked across the river to Del Rio? How did they know to walk (?) there?
