(Adam Wilson) Yesterday, President Biden attended the annual White House Correspondents Dinner. It was the first time that the President had participated in the dinner in six years. President Trump did not participate in a single White House Correspondents Dinner, which critics have said is an elitist event that symbolizes the cozy relationship that government bureaucrats have with the press.

During this year’s White House Correspondents Dinner, the critics were once again proven right as Washington’s elites in the press and government laughed at the misfortune that Americans are facing under the Biden regime.
One particularly odious moment was when woke comedian Trevor Noah mocked Biden’s track record during his first year in office.
“Since you’ve come into office, things are really looking up. Gas is up, rent is up, food is up! Everything!” He said. Biden laughed at the joke shortly before doing his own roast, which focused on typical liberal villains like Fox News and Republican politicians.

In December of 2021, NBC News interviewed people who were struggling to get by due to increasing costs of living.
“Food — it’s stressful,” said Hughes, 47, of Malvern, Arkansas. “I think all day: ‘What am I going to buy when I get off [work] that I can afford? What am I going to get?’ It’s just hard.”
“It’s worse now because things have gone up so much,” Another person said. “I can’t even afford to buy a cart of groceries.”
Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?
The news is important to all people because it is where we come to know new things about the world, which leads to the development of more life goals that lead to life wisdom. The news also serves as a social connection tool, as we tend to relate to those who know about and believe the things we do. With the power of an open truth-seeking mind in hand, the individual can grow wise and the collective can prosper.
