Is this really a ‘white supremacy’ sign? According to the mainstream media, it most certainly is. Here is a handful of stories from the Trump era, when the media urgently reported on every non-Democrat infraction:
- The “OK” hand gesture, commonly seen as a way of indicating that all is well, has now been classified as something else: a symbol of hate. (NPR)
- Touching the thumb and index finger to make a circle, with the remaining three fingers held outstretched, is a gesture that people around the world have made for centuries, mostly in positive contexts… But in recent years, it has also been appropriated for a more malign purpose — to signify “white power.” (NYT)
- No, white supremacists. You do not get to own the hand signal for “OK.” (LA Times)
- The military is investigating whether a hand gesture displayed by cadets and midshipmen during television coverage of the Army-Navy football game on Saturday was meant to express racist sentiments. (The Independent)
Maybe we will finally get a Biden investigation, now that we have a president who has made disparaging remarks about Black people in the past and flaunts the white supremacist ‘okay’ symbol on prime-time TV.
But more urgently, we need an investigation into why Biden keeps whispering creepy comments on television.

“Don’t pay a cent,” he said in an odd voice.
Biden is becoming notorious for not being able to modulate the sounds of his voice appropriately. He is either shouting like a lunatic or whispering like a complete creep. Watch this video from March if you doubt it:

“We still are in a war with this deadly virus and we’re bolstering our defenses, but this war is far from won,” he said.
“Together we have so much to be proud of in the past three weeks — past more than three weeks, past ten weeks,” he continued, his voice growing weaker.
“But we also have so much to be sorrowful about,” he said quietly. “Nearly 1,000 Americans a day are still dying from COVID-19, as we approach 550,000 deaths in a single year.”
It only got worse from there. But perhaps the most infamous incident of all came in June, when he leaned into the mic and whispered a bizarre response to a question from a “legitimate” reporter.
God help us if we have another three years of this.

The news also serves as a social connection tool, as we tend to relate to those who know about and believe the things we do.
