(Ian Cheong) Joe Biden is facing a perfect storm of controversy as calls for his impeachment continues to mount over his seeming inability to control the migrant crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, coupled with the ongoing sexual impropriety scandal with fellow Democrats and close Biden ally, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

On Thursday, Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene called for Biden’s impeachment following a statement from the city of McAllen, Texas, which stated that the Biden administration had released over 7,000 COVID-positive migrants into their city since February, including over 1,500 new migrants with the illness in the last week alone, per Fox News’ Bill Melugin.
“That’s it. Time to IMPEACH BIDEN!” Rep. Greene wrote on Twitter.

The situation on the border has only gotten direr in recent weeks and days, with the Department of Homeland Security announcing that it encountered a record high number of unaccompanied children on Wednesday.
Some 834 migrant children, all of whom were alone and without a parent or guardian, were apprehended and placed into the custody of Customs and Border Protection.

As Biden faces a crisis at the border, so too does he face a crisis in Washington over longstanding sexual harassment allegations against him by one of his former aides, Tara Reade, among other cases.
As the New York Post reported on Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki downplayed his personal scandal, claiming the allegations against the president have been “heavily litigated” when pressed on whether Biden’s own accusers deserve an independent investigation as was afforded to the women who have come forward to accuse Andrew Cuomo of sexual misconduct.
The New York Post details:
Biden has been accused of skinny-dipping in front of female Secret Service agents and his former Senate aide Tara Reade accused him of a 1993 sexual assault, The Post noted to Psaki at her daily press briefing. Many other women went to the New York Times and Washington Post during the 2020 campaign to say Biden’s unwanted touching upset them.
“Well, first I would say, the president has been clear and outspoken about the importance of women being respected and having their voices heard and being allowed to tell their stories and people treating them with respect. That has long been his policy, continues to be his policy,” Psaki said to the press.
“That was heavily litigated during the campaign. I understand you’re eager to come back to it, but I don’t have anything further other than to repeat that he has called for the governor to resign,” she added.
Although Biden has denied Reade’s accusations, he all but acknowledged the complaints of women who said he made them uncomfortable by touching them in 2019.
He has not made much of a response to reports that female Secret Service agents were outraged by his skinny dipping-antics when he was Vice President to Barack Obama.
Indeed, the beleaguered New York Governor Andrew Cuomo used the “Biden defense” to explain to the press that he, much like the president, has also hugged many women.
Following the release of the New York attorney general’s report on the misconduct allegations against Cuomo, Biden determined that Cuomo needed to resign – fulfilling a promise he said he would make if the investigation panned out in the way that it did against the governor.
He only fell short of calling for Cuomo’s impeachment.
“The president made clear yesterday that Gov. Cuomo should resign. And I believe we should start with that. There’s obviously a process that’s going to proceed, and leaders in New York spoke to that yesterday. We’ll leave it to them to speak to that,” Psaki said.
Biden’s remarks, especially in regard to the fact that the accusations against Cuomo managed to produce an investigation into his behavior, have prompted renewed scrutiny of the president’s own sexual misconduct allegations.
