Attacks Continue as Auditors in Maricopa County Reach over 60% of Ballots Counted, Usual Suspects are Identified

Roughly 2.1 million ballots were cast in Maricopa AZ last November. The audit, which started in April, includes reviewing the ballots in addition to machines used in the election. The audit was ordered by the Arizona Senate and is taking place at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix. Auditors currently expect to be done by the end of June.

As mentioned above, the audit has a huge target on its back.

“Attacks on the audit have never waned. We can only expect them to continue and to ramp up considerably as we get closer to the end of ballot counting,” she said in a video statement.

So, who exactly is conducting the opposition to the audits?

Far-left ‘non-profit’ American Oversight is on the warpath suing for records the Democrat machine is after.  But there is much more to this story.

The Washington Examiner reported on American Oversight yesterday and its recent actions in Arizona:

A left-leaning watchdog group on Wednesday sued the Arizona Senate for records pertaining to the “partisan” audit of the Maricopa County 2020 election.

The filing comes after American Oversight said in April it requested documents on Cyber Ninjas, the private firm conducting the inquiry, the audit’s funding and investigation techniques, and other matters. The organization said that by May 4, the Republican-led legislative body claimed there “are no more responsive documents to provide at this time because the Senate doesn’t have custody, control or possession of any of the records requested.”

If we dig a little deeper, we find that American Oversight is yet another (brace yourself for “hate-speech”) George Soros connected nonprofit that acts as a FOIA hit team. These types of organizations are created to gather the intel needed to file an unending river of lawsuits against the intended target to then be fed into a crooked court system and sensationalized to hell, thereby controlling the narrative through endless parroting in the legacy media.

These surrogate institutions, with misleading names such as the “Protect Democracy Project”, are used by hyper influential power players to create the desired outcome. In this case, the ideal outcome is to discredit and persecute anyone pushing for full forensic audits of the 2020 election. You’d think protecting democracy would involve a thorough and transparent audit of a widely contested election, this is decidedly not the case.

American Oversight could be seen as the Judicial Watch of the far left. Both organizations use FOIA’s but they use them in different ways to reach different ends. Tom Fitton largely seems concerned with uncovering obscured facts in all manner of different situations, while American Oversight uses the FOIA’s to get dirt on anyone challenging the establishment.

Influence Watch states: “American Oversight (AO) is an activist and litigation organization focusing on filing open records requests targeting Republican interests, especially the administration of President Donald Trump … it claims to be “the top Freedom of Information Act litigator investigating the Trump administration,” with more than 1000 open records requests and 56 lawsuits filed in 2018 … While promoting itself as a “non-partisan” watchdog, American Oversight frequently appears explicitly partisan in its choice of investigative projects.

The Charity is located in Washington, D.C., and in 2019 had gross receipts of $3,732,681. These alleged nonpartisan charities – which are legally allowed to pass along tax exemptions to their donors – must disclose all their donors who give over $5,000 on their yearly tax forms, the Form 990. However, the government then must redact that data when it posts these public documents.

Therefore, the public is completely in the dark as to who dumped all this money on American Oversight in 2019.

Here is an excellent Capital Research Center (CRC) review of American Oversight:

The group should call itself an attack dog rather than an “ethics watchdog.” Its leader was an attorney in the Obama State Department, senior staffer to Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and a researcher for the agitation group People for the American Way. Even the liberal Mother Jones called American Oversight “a liberal advocacy group.”

Kyle Herrig, a member of the group’s board of directors, connects American Oversight to the New Venture Fund—a mysterious 501(c)(3) mega-funder that raked in a stunning $358 million in 2016, according to its most recent tax filings. As we document at InfluenceWatch.org, the New Venture Fund maintains a host of websites designed to look like independent activist organizations, including Restore Public Trust and the anti-Kavanaugh group Fix the Court.

But it’s the New Venture Fund’s penchant for funneling millions of dollars to left-wing advocacy groups like David Brock’s Media Matters for America and the Center for American Progress that has led many to call it a “dark money outfit,” that is, a funding conduit that shields donors from scrutiny.”

Nonprofit American Oversight is connected to George Soros and the Democracy Alliance:

Democracy Forward, CREW, and American Oversight are all approved groups for funding by the Democracy Alliance, the left’s largest dark money donor network. Members of the alliance also helped fund and propel the Center for American Progress and Media Matters. The alliance has spent $1.83 billion on progressive infrastructure since its inception in 2005, confidential documents obtained by the Free Beacon at its latest gathering showed.

American Oversight is connected to Protect Democracy, as well, as noted in other publications:

Protect Democracy released recommendations for Congress and the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee, including (a) legislation and (b) a set of recommendations to each of the relevant oversight bodies aimed at ensuring public access to information about the federal government’s allocation of aid and resources to states and deterring any distribution of resources on the basis of politics or patronage. Read our recommendations here.

These recommendations were created in partnership with the Project on Government Oversight, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, American Oversight, Public Citizen, and the Constitutional Accountability Center.

In regards to the Maricopa audit currently in place, American Oversight declares:

The audit, which involves a hand recount of more than 2 million votes and will cost the state $150,000, is not based on any evidence of widespread voter fraud, in Maricopa County or elsewhere. In fact, an independent audit in February confirmed that the ballots in the county had been tabulated accurately and that there were no irregularities with the election equipment or software.

What American Oversight neglects to mention is that not one single ballot was looked at in the audit they admire above.  A few machines were looked at and taken apart and then the auditors claimed everything was fine.  Maricopa County paid around $100,000 for these two audits they knew would declare everything was right with the 2020 election in the county.

But what also is startling are the entities behind American Oversight: the secretive Democracy Forward and the Democracy Forward Foundation.

Here’s how the establishment plays its crooked game:

• American Oversight secures FOIAs from entities they are after related to President Trump;
• Democracy Forward then swoops in and begins the litigation;

Remember, THESE ARE “NONPARTISAN” NONPROFITS –  by law, these outfits must be non-partisan but clearly, they are not.

The Democrats’ most powerful and vicious law firm, Perkins Coie, and Marc Elias are absolutely behind Democracy Forward Foundation.  A quick look at their 2018 makeup and you can see Hillary’s attorney, Elias, as well as Hillary’s campaign manager John Podesta and Biden’s current Chief of Staff Ron Klain.

These are the people behind the investigations and certain lawsuits coming from the Democrats in Arizona.  These people don’t want a free and fair election, they want to win at all costs.
