The world has been shaken
I will endeavor in this article to put everything I’ve found in one place. I’ll be updating this post as I find new information over the next few days (post in the comments if you have anything to add). Please pray for the health and safety of Donald J. Trump, his close associates, and all patriots the world over.
My Initial Thoughts and Feelings
I think this event will be seen as one of many watershed moments in the battle that arguably began in 2015, when Trump announced his bid for the 2016 race. Since then, he has challenged the single most powerful force of coordinated global corruption arguably the world has ever seen. He has won almost every battle, despite the odds against him, just as he won the battle last night. And he continues to fight—for himself, for the country, and for all those who benefit from true freedom. It’s frankly astonishing that an open attempt on Trump’s life hasn’t happened yet, at least that we know of.
Without confirming or denying any theories as to whether this event was planned or part of a “show,” I think we can all agree that what happened last night was shocking and renewed our patriotic convictions.
Our fears that we almost lost one of the bravest and most effective men in history who has successfully fought for freedom and justice are very real. If Trump had moved even an inch to the wrong side, we might be contemplating a much darker situation. Witnessing what I can only describe as a seemingly divine moment, Trump survived a very close brush with death.
The dream that freedom and prosperity might actually win was threatened last night, and everyone’s heart who cares about that dream skipped a beat. My wife and I were moved to tears as we watched Trump, who was just shot and whose life was just threatened, demand that the secret service wait so he could assure the crowd he was still alive and still fighting. The whole scene reminds me of something from scripture.
While nothing is certain, we can rightfully believe that our fears of a Trumpless world have been allayed, at least for now. We can also confirm our suspicion that the powers that be want this man out of the way.
“Lone Gunmen” have an unusually successful history of killing men who love freedom, justice, and goodness in our world and, in doing so, just so happen to give those who benefit from corruption a great advantage.
The enemies of truth, freedom, justice, kindness, compassion, and a better world must be stopped. These enemies of freedom should rightfully be scared; the sleeping giant is awakening, even more so than before yesterday.
For myself, I think God does what God always does: he uses his incredible power and vantage point in omniscience to turn tragedy into triumph. This doesn’t mean our free will is an illusion; it means that despite our choices, God works with us to transform the world of our mutual making into a manifestation of his divine plan.
Trump’s near-fatal brush with death will likely be a shot heard around the world, a rallying cry to all those who have sat on the sidelines, unsure what they would do given the evils of our world. Maybe this really is the beginning of the end of the ages of corruption and the start of a better world.
Interesting, I had released an article two days before about a potential assassination attempt of Joe Biden. I should have included a section on a possible attempt on Trump’s life.
Summary of Events
In Butler, Pennsylvania, at 6:09 p.m., an attempt on the life of President Donald J. Trump took place, shortly after he began addressing the rally. Two people have been killed, one of whom is the shooter, and two have been critically injured.
As he pointed to a chart discussing illegal immigration, Trump grabbed his ear, seemingly stung or bitten by an insect. The shot echoed through the air a second later, prompting the secret service to yell, “Get down!” Trump collapsed behind the podium, and several secret services rushed to the stage to shield him from the ongoing attack. Seconds later, secret service snipers on a roof near the stage, positioned off in the distance, killed the gunman on a roof across the street.
A secret serviceman surrounded Trump as he rose from his fallen position moments after the all-clear signal, his right ear bloodied from the bullet that nearly killed him. Trump demanded of the secret servicemen that he be allowed to get his shoes. As he rose up from the stage and they began moving him away from the scene of the attack, Trump further demanded that they wait. Pulling himself forward through the bodyshields to the shocked crowed, he threw up a jesture to onlookers breathless with anticipation that he was alive. He raised his fist into the air and pumped it three times, saying, “Fight! Fight! Fight!” with two lines of blood on his right cheek and his hair disheveled. Trump was pulled to safety.
