) It is five months after the January 6th “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol, and the Democratic Party is pressing for answers. So much so, that Speaker Nancy Pelosi is vowing to open up her own partisan investigation if the U.S. Senate does not give in and agree to a bipartisan commission.Related EXC: FBI Raids Alaska Spa To “Recover Pelosi’s Laptop” Stolen from U.S. Capitol, Owners Reveal.

But an explosive report by Revolver News that was given a high level of visibility by Tucker Carlson of Fox News is bringing to light uncomfortable questions. These questions are apparently so delicate that Twitter felt compelled to issue an editorial comment about it in its trending category, similar to the way the social media platform has sought to dispel any questions about the 2020 election itself.
On Wednesday, Congressman Matt Gaetz seized on the Revolver News report to direct its pointed questions towards FBI Director Chris Wray.
BREAKING: Congressman Matt Gaetz calls on FBI Director Christopher Wray to fully disclose the role and involvement of FBI operatives during the January 6th Capitol riot.
More details coming. pic.twitter.com/lviUHfhLyW

The letter is reproduced her below.
Director Wray:
“As the events of January 6, 2021, come to clearer relief many questions remain unanswered,” the letter states. “On June 8, 2021, the Senate Homeland Security Committee and the Senate Rules Committee jointly produced a 95-page report finding problems ranging from federal intelligence agencies failing to warn of a potential for violence, to a lack of planning and preparation by U.S. Capitol Police and law enforcement leadership.”
I am seeking your answers to clarify the following questions:
1. In the year leading up to the events on 1/6 and during 1/6 itself, to what extent were the three primary militia groups (the Oath Keepers, the Proud Boys, and the Three Percenters) infiltrated by agencies of the federal government (including the FBI), or informants of said agencies?
2. Exactly how many federal undercover agents or confidential informants were present at the Capitol or in the Capitol during the ”siege” and what roles did they play (merely passive informants or active instigators)?
3. Of all the unindicted co-conspirators referenced in the charging documents of those indicted for crimes on 1 / 6, how many worked as a confidential informant or as an undercover operative for the federal government (FBI, Army Counterintelligence, etc.)?
I expect an answer from your office by August 1, 2021. Thank you.
These questions mirror those that were a part of Revolver News’s report on suspect unindicted co-conspirators that have escaped aggressive charging by the Department of Justice. That report can be read in full elsewhere on this site.
The FBI is continuing to aggressively pursue its investigations, even as none of the protesters were armed, and no one was provably killed in the January 6th event by the rioters. This is contrary to Biden’s lie today that Officer Brian Sicknick was killed by a pro-Trump mob.
“The F.B.I. is pursuing potentially hundreds more suspects in the Capitol riot, the agency’s director told Congress on Tuesday, calling the effort to find those responsible for the deadly assault ‘one of the most far-reaching and extensive’ investigations in the bureau’s history,” the NY Times reported.
“We’ve already arrested close to 500, and we have hundreds of investigations that are still ongoing beyond those 500,” Wray told the House Oversight Committee.
The overreaction to the Capitol riots, which were in no way a credible threat to overturning an election, is quite obviously political. The Democratic Party ignored months of violent protests by far-left extremists and is now throwing the book at MAGA tourists and extremist group members. That is, except for those who may themselves have been FBI undercover agents and informants acting as ‘agents provocateurs’ on January 6th.
