(Justin Deschamps) The following video so breathtakingly predicts this year’s events, published on December 31st, 2019, that you’d have to be blind not to see how clearly it foresaw what is going on.

The prediction is not specific, but general. It is not about the economic downturn, the Coronavirus, or the protests—but the evolution of consciousness that encompasses all these things and more.
After you watch this, you’ll get a sense of what 2020 vision, to use a metaphor, is all about. And why this cosmic metaphor so perfectly describes what we as individuals and a society are going through.
Here’s Teal Swan’s video prediction.
The evolution of consciousness is spiritual evolution, which is the idea that at all levels of human life, the bedrock of true progress, actual improvement, and positive innovation is the betterment of the individual by accepting and integrating the truth into their lives. This translates into better social or cultural conditions, which in turn, translates into a more free and prosperous society.
Another term for this notion is enlightenment.
As Carl Jung is noted as saying, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” How true are those words today?
And “One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”
This idea that one grows or becomes better by accepting the truth, especially the “shadow” or aspects of oneself that one doesn’t find desirable is unquestionably true, but hardly a value enshrined by our society or cultures the world over. And yet, this fact can’t be ignored either.
An alcoholic has to accept their addiction to transcend it.
The truth is the truth. No amount of "canceling" will make the world better if it's founded in an irrational rejection of the whole of reality. An alcoholic or addict fully embraces their past to carve out a better future. Overcoming injustice is no different.

Despite the fact, in today’s world, this truism is often overlooked in favor of what we might call “distraction” culture, it continues to remain true that if one ignores their mistakes they are doomed to repeat them.
A musician, artist, or inventor can hardly attain their goal without contending with errors made through imperfect attempts of the past.
Given these inarguable facts about the reality of human existence, how does a planet filled with human beings, going through a global transition to a united community contend with an enormous shadow of divergent beliefs, values, and opinions?
Book Memories, Dreams, Reflections by Carl Jung
To put it simply, how can we pursue freedom, justice, and a better life for all, without addressing the whole of society’s irrational and contradictory beliefs and cultural mores?
We can’t. And it seems, either by cosmic design, the collective consciousness, or nefarious forces acting to manipulate world events for their own benefit, the year 2020 is a year where conflict and strife are inescapable.
But, again to cite an addiction analogy, the acceptance of a truth long resisted often comes at the cost of chaotic emotions and turmoil. We are going through this facing of the shadow moment, actually many shadows. And many have bravely accepted these truths while others continue to resist them, at their peril.
But, if I can make a prediction of my own, I think as more and more of the collective shadow or unacknowledged truth comes to light and is accepted, things will get better. The more people I talk to the more aware they are of these once unacknowledged truths. I just spoke with a local baker today who was discussing the absurdity of locking down the economy for COVID-19 when it isn’t even as dangerous as the flu.
People are realizing that the coronavirus lockdown is unnecessary, and part of some greater agenda for control.
They realize that mass riots and violence is being fueled by nefarious forces trying to weaponized collective discontent for insidious reasons. And they are, despite deep state-run media continued efforts to divide us, more loving and forgiving than ever—you just won’t see it on the news.
To be sure, the line between love and hate is growing bolder. But more and more people are stepping over to the side of love. And this means those who do the reverse, who continue to turn toward hate, will become increasingly more violent, loud-mouthed, and visible. This is precisely what needs to happen in my view. Often a toxic belief, behavior, or sickness is overlooked until it’s so unavoidable we finally face it.
Book The School of Life: An Emotional Education
I think we are about to see the dam of collective resistance of the shadow break, and with that release, a new foundation of healing, reconciliation, and growth will wash over the earth.
I ask you to consider this view. I ask you to look out into the world and use this premise to reorganize the seemingly dark and chaotic events that surround us so they can be seen as heralds of a brighter future.
The night is darkest before the dawn.

Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?
Consciousness is one of the most mysterious phenomena of all time. Scientists, philosophers, and mystics have been searching for the answer to the question, What is Consciousness? for most of human history. In modern times, the spiritual origins of consciousness are being replaced with a materialistic view, that awareness emerges as an additive property of electrical impulses in living things. Despite the fact this theory is assumed to be true, any self-respecting psychologist will tell you we have no idea what consciousness really is. The preceding article discusses consciousness, some of its properties, and possible origins. This is helpful to contemplate because, in the act of trying to understand the mysteries of consciousness, you develop critical thinking skills and stimulate your philosophic muscles, both which are immensely important for almost everything we do in life. Additionally, you’ll develop abstract thinking skills, the ability to explore intangible realities that govern material realms. With the power of an active mind capable of navigating the realities of consciousness, great leaps in personal attainment can be made along with preparing you for the Great Work of making this world a better place.
