What is our mission? Why do we post what we do?

Our mission here is to curate (share) articles and information that we feel is important for the evolution of consciousness. Most of that information is written or produced by other people and organizations, which means it does not represent our views or opinions as managing staff of Stillness in the Storm. Some of the content is written by one of our writers and is clearly marked accordingly. Just because we share a CNN story that speaks badly about the President doesn’t mean we’re promoting anti-POTUS views. We’re reporting on the fact as it was reported, and that this event is important for us to know so we can better contend with the challenges of gaining freedom and prosperity. Similarly, just because we share a pro/anti-[insert issue or topic] content, such as a pro-second amendment piece or an anti-military video doesn’t mean we endorse what is said. Again, information is shared on this site for the purpose of evolving consciousness. In our opinion, consciousness evolves through the process of accumulating knowledge of the truth and contemplating that knowledge to distill wisdom and improve life by discovering and incorporating holistic values. Thus, sharing information from many different sources, with many different perspectives is the best way to maximize evolution. What’s more, the mastery of mind and discernment doesn’t occur in a vacuum, it is much like the immune system, it needs regular exposure to new things to stay healthy and strong.     this video is literally weakest ass proof of anything

    if it was real proof, it would prove something, but this video does not prove anything

    if anything, this video is an incoherent list of details in sequential events that are supposed to be a result of some sort of “Grand Planning”

    yet sense making and pattern recognition is what the brain is designed to do, it is its primary function, and that is how computer vision works

    there’s a lot of related concepts to cognitive biases that go hand in hand with this phenomenon

    Abductive reasoning (also called abduction, abductive inference, or retroduction) is a form of logical inference formulated and advanced by American philosopher Charles Sanders Peirce beginning in the last third of the 19th century. It starts with an observation or set of observations and then seeks to find the simplest and most likely conclusion from the observations. This process, unlike deductive reasoning, yields a plausible conclusion but does not positively verify it. Abductive conclusions are thus qualified as having a remnant of uncertainty or doubt, which is expressed in retreat terms such as “best available” or “most likely”. One can understand abductive reasoning as inference to the best explanation, although not all usages of the terms abduction and inference to the best explanation are exactly equivalent.

    Pareidolia is the tendency for incorrect perception of a stimulus as an object, pattern or meaning known to the observer, such as seeing shapes in clouds, seeing faces in inanimate objects or abstract patterns, or hearing hidden messages in music. Pareidolia can be considered a subcategory of apophenia.

    Common examples are perceived images of animals, faces, or objects in cloud formations, the Man in the Moon, the Moon rabbit, and other lunar pareidolia. The concept of pareidolia may extend to include hidden messages in recorded music played in reverse or at higher- or lower-than-normal speeds, and hearing indistinct voices in random noise such as that produced by air conditioners or fans.

      The video proves quite a bit actually. But it should be considered that proof is only as good as the mind interpreting it. If you can’t read, then no proof in the form of text will mean anything to you. Think, use your mind, and ask honest questions.

      Wow! It sure is obvious that the first couple paragraphs were your thoughts and the rest was copied & pasted.
      I’m just wondering if you bothered to read the latter?
      “A clear indication of intelligence is to always be wondering. To be 100% sure of any given situation is ultimately foolish.”
      Trying to passively put down others for considering an alternative (reality) to what seems to be going on is a trait I hope to see grow unpopular. As I observe that behavior increase each day I am evermore thankful for being closer to the next realm than just beginning on this planet. The more I see, the more ashamed I am that I belong to the human race. I’m just as guilty as the next guy, btw!
      I do hope and pray that I don’t come back as a human in my next life or even on this planet for that matter!
