(Stillness in the Storm Editor) I was an atheist for most of my life, after being exposed to Christianity as a child, and feeling as though it did not accurately reflect reality. Like most “truth sensitive” people, I took a polarized stance on any concept of God and remained steadfastly ignorant to the realities of the spirit for most of my life. But in mid 2010, I started my “wake up” experience, and rediscovered the spiritual nature of existence via many works. Walter Russell’s writings are one of the resources I delved into. His information can be difficult to understand, and it wasn’t till I read the Urantia book twice, the Law of One Material, Hermetic Philosophy and related Science and Consciousness, along with countless other works of all kinds that finally I began to understand some of the concepts presented by Russell.
In my personal exploration of the spirit, I do not hold one book, idea or faith as the perfect version, which must be adhered to. Instead I hold the premise: that if the Creator is really in all things, then the truth must be reflected everywhere but only in part; and that I must know these truths personally if they are to have any real benefit in my life. I have been working with that premise for five years and it holds true in my experience at every level. Now I am at the point where I can see the workings of the Creator within nearly everything.
I say this not to offer myself as some one to be worshiped but to merely state that anyone is capable of developing a very real and personal connection to the spiritual nature of existence, by developing true and accurate knowledge. The more expansive and eclectic our appetite for knowledge the more it gives us the eyes to see.

“Light cannot be seen, it can only be known. Light is still. The sense of sight cannot respond to stillness. That which the eyes “feel” and believe to be Light is but wave motion simulating the idea of Light. Like all things else in this electric wave universe the idea of Light cannot be produced. Electric waves simulate idea only. They do not become idea. When man sees the light of the sun he believes that he is actually seeing light when the nerves of his eyes are but “feeling” the intense, rapid, short- wave vibrations of the kind of wave motion which he senses as incandescence. The intensely vibrant electric current mirrored into the senses of the eyes fairly burns them. They cannot stand that high rate of vibration. The eyes would be destroyed by such a vibration but light would not be the cause of that destruction. Fast motion, simulating light, would be the cause. It would be like sending a high voltage electric current over a wire, so fine that the current would burn it out.
