Labels, in my opinion, are needed by those who apparently are blind followers of philosophies and party-politics loyalties often ginned up by self-perpetuating control freaks. Check out history, if you doubt that remark.
However, recently an email came across my computer desktop that struck my fancy since it seems obvious other free thinkers before me have given much thought to dissecting political labels, which I thought I’d share with my readers.

[Now that’s a true “reality check,” in my opinion.]
Personally, I find Ms. Rand’s definition of the difference between Communism and Socialism, i.e., “Communism proposed to enslave men by force, Socialism, by vote” seemingly strikes the bull’s eye center on, specifically during the current “upside-down times” we in the USA are living through.
However, the Founding Fathers of this Great Nation also had their thoughts and consequential remarks about Democracy, something Americans value but, in my opinion, don’t understand how to participate in correctly, e.g., it’s not mob rule on the streets nor in Congressional caucuses.
It is rather interesting what Thomas Jefferson had said about democracy being mob rule: 51% of the people may take away the rights of the other 49%! Ouch!
How did John Adams come to his decision there never was a democracy [as of Colonial times] that did not commit suicide? Hasn’t Adams been proven correct during recent times?

Alexander Hamilton explicitly stated the United States was a republican government, which most folks probably really don’t realize what that means. It has nothing to do with the Republican Party. Here’s the real explanation:
A republican government is one in which the political authority comes from the people. In the United States, power is given to the government by its citizens as written in the U.S. Constitution and through its elected representatives.

So why is there an emerging Leftist / Progressive agenda to do away with the U.S. Constitution? Could it be that the republican government “format” does not fit in with their definition of Democracy, which actually is found in the governance structure called “republican government”?

The Deep State employ various forms of mass indoctrination to further their agenda, which they’ve been doing for many thousands of years. This requires the technique of presenting appealing rhetoric on the surface, in order to “sell” the concept to the masses. And yet, behind the scenes, the true agenda is one of total control of mind, body, and spirit. If done well, the people clamor to be enslaved. And anyone with an honest look at history can see this is exactly what has taken place. Communism is one of the latest “updates” to the Deep State’s adaptable control system. Many fail to recognize the underlying manipulation at work in almost every major cultural trend, religion, sociopolitical leaning, or scientific view, namely because they fail to grasp a substantive view of the history and underlying philosophies at work. Until you grasp the philosophic roots and values of the Deep State, the package in which their machinations are sold to you will lead you astray. The preceding information reveals communism and socialism as the neo-Deep State control ideologies. These schools of thought take root in the dark occult, reaching back to the times of the Sabbatean cult founded in 1666, and arguably much earlier. One can begin their education by understanding the tenets of this and any other ideologies like it (such as post-modernism, Marxism, and even major religions founded on doctrinal dogma), thereby discerning if it is truly good on its merits—what it actually seeks to do and has done in the past. Conversely, many who subscribe to communism, socialism, or any other Deep State mind control ideology, focus on the surface level descriptions (the image or promise), as opposed to the reality. But with knowledge of the actual history, statements, and results of these ideological control mechanisms, one can begin to see the common thread in them all—the systematic destruction of individual rights in favor of a mob controlled by the Deep State. And once the wool has been thoroughly pulled from your eyes, you can join the ranks of true freedom fighters, who recognize the only hope for lasting peace is the upholding of the rights of all people as God-given, managed and coordinated by a truly lawful system for the good of all.

In your estimation, Justin, would you describe the democratic socialism that’s been in effect in Scandinavia as slavery?
I don’t understand this recent phenomena of the conflation of democratic socialism with communism. I’ve thought it one of the stupidest formulations seen in a long time, no doubt the effort of the deep stage to turn people back towards predatory capitalism. Therefore I’m shocked to see you, who are all about discernment and well considered argumentation, making this type of case. Please explain
I didn’t write the article. As far as I understand it, which is hardly a complete presentation of all the information available, socialism is a stepping stone to communism, which is itself a front for totalitarian government, the Deep State’s attempt to realize Pluto’s dream.
These terms can muddy the waters. Perhaps you can share the specific factors that you’re citing as to the differences so we can have a more substantive conversation.
Still no response from Justin . I will elaborate . Just as the socialist notion of “from each according to his capacities to each according to his needs” can be corrupted and has been corrupted by Leninism and Maoism , Capitalism and free markets with their Darwinist philosophy of “survival of the fittest” have been an equally effective tool of the deep state in corrupting society. Just look at Wall Street and the banking sector, for God sakes!
