“Smart” Meters have been linked worldwide to fires, explosions, inaccurate (and inflated) measurements and billing, malfunctioning and breaking appliances, health issues, environmental issues, cybersecurity issues, and privacy violations. Original analog meters weren’t associated with these problems and they lasted – on average – 40 years. “Smart” Meters have to be replaced anywhere between 1-10 years. “Smart” Meters are dumb – and we’re not the first to say it either.

This article is full of so many falsehoods, fake “science”, and fear mongering as to not be worthy of detailed rebuttal. There are some valid concerns, but for 99% of the population, this is just nonsense. I’ll be happy to have a reasoned and rational discussion with those who are concerned and want to know if this is something they should fear or ignore. Remember, at the top of the powers that were hierarchy is a group of beings that exist solely on the fear humans express, no matter how it is generated. Do not trust anyone who wants you to be scared and feel powerless or attacked. Disempowerment is their primary tool to get you scared. Monsters Inc was very very close to the truth. Your best move is to relax and ignore this. Unless you are among the very few who are genuinely extra sensitive to RF, in which case you already know and have no cell phones, no WiFi, no TV, no microwave, etc., and you have moved to remote country to get away from as much RF as possible. :)
I hate smart meters too! In our stupid state, they won’t let us even choose to get them off our homes. We are going to try and get off the grid. BUT until we do, the AHOLE power company installed one. And, now our power just will go on and off for NO REASON. Well, actually there Is a reason, it’s the smart meter. FWIW, I’m filing an informal complaint because of this. These power companies SUCK!
I’d also disregard the industry sponsored jargon from the Steve Wrong who posted some crap, must be a Verizon worker or some other dummy who doesn’t know anything.
