Trump and MAGA, the Magna Carta, and Winning Against Tyranny

Over 800 years ago, on June 15th, 1215, the Magna Carta was signed as a direct response to the political persecutions of his barons by King John, who, like Trump and MAGA conservatives, were sick of being unfairly persecuted.

Tyrants Persecute their Enemies in Any Century

Trump is presently being persecuted by the establishment, which has weaponized the legal system against him in unprecedented lawfare attacks on his rights, property, and reputation. This is the same playbook that the tyrants of the past used against the Trump’s of their day.

Lawfare is the strategic use of legal proceedings to intimidate or hinder an opponent, or to deter an individual’s usage of their legal rights. The moment any amount of lawfare is inflicted upon any citizen, for any reason, the rule of law has been destroyed and tyranny spreads like a plague across the land.

A December 2023 Newsweek Op-ed surprisingly speaks plainly about the glaring corruption and lawfare beating at the heart of the Democrats efforts to stop Trump by any means necessary.

Less than one year away from the 2024 presidential election, poll after poll shows President Joe Biden‘s chances of reelection diminishing. The panicked response of Democrats has ranged from anonymously leaking statements imploring President Biden not to run again to head-in-the-sand denials about his chances of winning. But by far the most dangerous and un-American tool in the Left’s political arsenal is their unprecedented lawfare targeting Joe Biden’s leading political opponent: President Donald J. Trump.

The False Rule of Law

Weaponizing the legal system against a political opponent is nothing new. It’s an age old tactic that becomes vogue when the principles of the true rule of law—not the false one pushed by the mainstream media—are usurped by corrupt powerbrokers. The media and the benefactors of the corrupt uniparty system have pushed a false rule of law, where the rule of law only applies to those in there club—those who conform to their agenda and those who have the money to pay for a legal defense. Everyone else, even if the law would normally protect them, is unprotected.

The oligarchs of today, who benefit from the corrupt veins of power that have woven themselves into nearly every area of modern life, retain their power through a weaponized legal system, a weaponized financial system, and a weaponized media. All of these pillars of the modern deep state, and many more not named, allow them to suppress the rights of the people at large, and in the case of Donald J. Trump, even suppress the rights of the President of the United States.

The lawfare campaigns against Trump began as soon as he dared to act against the interests of the corrupt oligarchs and globalists who have retained undo power and influence for themselves since at least the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

Through the intelligence apparatus, corrupt legal system, and the media, you can be arrested, have your wealth and assets confiscated, and even be put to death for the crime of going against the establishment. These crimes against citizens by the established order are almost always covered up or justified in various ways. But in point of fact, the strange propensity for bad things to happen to people who deign to have an influential dissenting opinion can’t be ignored. These schemes are sold to the people as fair, just, and necessary, through a sophisticated and incestuous marriage between the media, NGOs and the various cutouts for the intelligence apparatus, who are often working for the benefit of globalist stakeholders.

Persecution is Persecution

Legal Persecution. In the case of Trump, his wealth has come under assault through many means, recently, the civil fraud case from February of 2024, arguing Trump inflated the valuations of his properties to secure loans from lenders. Of course, by any reasonable standard, this isn’t true, as the bank executive called before the court by Letitia James made clear. The statements supplied by Trump to the banks during the underwriting process clearly indicated that the banks had to do their own due diligence, and Trump’s valuations were estimates, a standard practice in most deals of this type.

Reputation Persecution. Furthermore, Trump’s reputation has been under repeated assault by the same captured media, which in doing so, eroded the basis for which he was previously able to enjoy unprecedented financial success as a land developer and celebrity. Reputation destruction is yet another form of sanction for the benefit of globalist stakeholders.

Although the means are different between these modern and historic examples, the outcome is the same—forces in the highest echelons of power seek to maintain there power by persecuting their enemies and deprive them of life, liberty, property, and status.

King John of the 13th century and King George of the 18th century sought to retain power and influence by weaponizing the legal system and media machines of their time. The persecution of founding fathers helped give rise to the patriotic sentiments that gave birth to the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution. Similarly, the barons of King John’s court were similarly inspired to fight corruption inflicted upon their rights and property.

Corruption Then, Corruption Now

The first and only King of England bearing the name John, was of the Plantagenet dynasty, son of Henry the II, who reigned from 1199 to 1216. He signed a famous and profoundly influential document called the Magna Carta on June 15th, 1215.

The founding fathers of the United States were influenced by this seminal document, which made a significant impact on the principles enshrined in the US Constitution, shaping legal jurisprudence (legal theory) to this day.

What was King John doing to the Donald Trump’s of his day?

Trump, in effect, is not unlike a baron from the days of kings and queens. Barons held land and managed the people living on them. Although Trump is not a feudal lord that exacts taxes from his subjects, he is as political influential in the realm of politics—clearly—just as the barons of King John’s time were to the king. With this political power, a baron or a Trump can threaten the seat of power.

In his day, King John persecuted the barons under him in the following five ways.

1. Taxation and Financial Demands: King John imposed heavy taxes on his subjects, including the barons, to fund his military campaigns and pay a ransom for his brother, Richard the Lionheart, who was taken prisoner during the Third Crusade. This financial burden was a significant source of discontent among the barons.

2. Arbitrary Imprisonment and Seizure of Property: King John had a reputation for arbitrarily imprisoning people, including barons, without due process of law. He also confiscated their lands and properties without just cause, which was a major grievance for the barons.

3. Disregard for the Law: King John often ignored the existing laws and customs of the land, making arbitrary decisions and judgments that favored his interests over those of his subjects. This disregard for the rule of law was a key factor in the barons’ demand for the Magna Carta.

4. Loss of Normandy: King John’s military failures, particularly the loss of Normandy to the French king, were also a source of discontent among the barons. This loss not only affected the barons’ estates in France but also weakened England’s position in Europe.

5. Conflict with the Church: King John’s dispute with the Pope over the appointment of the Archbishop of Canterbury led to his excommunication in 1209. This conflict with the Church further alienated the barons, who saw it as an abuse of power by the king.

Notice any similarities?

Today, Trump, MAGA conservatives and his America First supporters are being persecuted in similar ways that King John was doing his enemies in the 13th century. Again the means and the details might be different, but the overarching themes are nearly identical.

1. Trump and MAGA conservatives are being unfairly taxed by a weaponized IRS and bloated power hungry Congress that enacts taxation laws and fines to drain resources from their enemies (e.g. the Trump civil case, the weaponization of his tax returns to besmirch his reputation, and the unfair persecution of conservative supporters by the IRS). The goal here is that of siege—starve out your enemy and make it harder for them to fight you.

2. Trump and MAGA conservatives are being unfairly imprisoned and persecuted by Soros-blacked District Attorneys (e.g. J6 Defendants, conservative business owners that refused to close during COVID, and Trump himself via numerous lawfare cases against him). The goal here is that of disablement or neutralization—take your enemy off the battlefield where they can harm you and your interests.

3. DAs and legal authorities across the US are twisting and distorting laws and precedents to go after Trump and MAGA conservatives (e.g. the changing of the New York statue of limitations in the E.Jean Carroll case, the non-crime of paying attorney fees to Michael Cohen that allegedly became hush-money, and the Jack Smith documents case ignoring Presidential Declassification power—just three examples). The goal here is that of discredit—remove the enemies weapons of clout and influence.

4. Trump and MAGA conservatives want to end the forever-wars of the military industrial complex and associated profiteering along with the horrors of war inflicted upon people in the affected war-torn regions and US soldiers sent to fight them. In response, they are persecuted so the globalist warmongers can retain their access to funding and the spoils of conquest.

5. Trump and MAGA conservatives have spoken out against the modern-day secular “church” of wokism (DEI and ESG) for the harm and damage it has done to our children, education system, society, and the quality of our business and government institutions. In response, they are persecuted and slandered as racists, homophobes, and the like, helping the globalist to maintain their grip on the minds of their leftist supporters.

6. The controlers of financial system and weaponized asset-managers like Blackrock an Vanguard, have used their oligopoly (coordinated control of the economy and finance) to increase inflation and drive up the cost of capital via rate hikes, making it almost impossible for small to medium business owners to grow and pay fair wages for the working classes. Again, the goal here is siege and neutralization—starve out your enemy so they can’t fight you.

These are just a few of the ways the powerbrokers of today weaponize their status to unlawfully persecute their enemies.

The similarities are to glaring to ignore.

The Signing of the Magna Carta and Fight Against Establishment Power

The barons of King John’s day, like Trump and those who fight for freedom and the rule of law of today, demanded King John release his grip on absolute power. In the past, monarchies ruled with absolute authority, where every whim of the monarch had the force of law.

To counter this, the barons demanded King John sign the Magna Carta, which forced the standards of the rule law, due process and accountability on the King. These same principles continue to live on today, albeit in a hollowed out form. Trump and all those who love true freedom also know the value and critical importance of the true rule of law, which the Magna Carta, enshrined in the following ways.

1. Rule of Law: The Magna Carta established the principle that everyone, including the king, was subject to the law. This idea was fundamental to the development of the rule of law in the US, where no one is above the law.
2. Due Process: The Magna Carta’s guarantee of individual rights, such as the right to a fair trial and protection against unlawful imprisonment, inspired provisions in the Fifth and Sixth Amendments of the US Constitution.
3. Trial by Jury: The Magna Carta established the right to a trial by jury, which became a cornerstone of American judicial fairness and is integral to the Sixth Amendment’s guarantees of rights to a speedy trial, an impartial jury, and counsel.
4. Protection of Individual Liberties: The Magna Carta laid the conceptual groundwork upon which the detailed construction of the US Constitution was built, ensuring the new nation would flourish under the rule of law and protecting individual liberties against potential abuses of power.
5. Checks and Balances: The Magna Carta’s influence is reflected in the US Constitution’s system of checks and balances within the federal government, which was designed to protect individual liberties against potential abuses of power.
6. Separation of Powers: The Magna Carta’s emphasis on the importance of a strong central government while preserving state sovereignty influenced the US Constitution’s balance between federal and state powers.
7. Limited Government: The Magna Carta established the principle that the government’s power derives from the people, a revolutionary shift from monarchical forms. This principle is reflected in the US Constitution’s provisions for a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
8. Religious Freedom: The Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, drafted by Thomas Jefferson in 1777 and enacted in 1786, was influenced by the Magna Carta’s protection of individual rights and its emphasis on the separation of church and state. This statute became a model for the First Amendment’s protection of religious liberty and separation of church and state.

The founding fathers advanced the principles of the true rule of law even further by extending these rights to the people, instead of just the court officers of the king, like barons and lords. With this unprecedented shift in power, no longer could an office holder unilaterally deprive his people of rights—persecution by the means cited above.

Today, in the US, the blue collar worker has a right to due process just as much as a wealthy business owner or a sitting Senator—at least, this is what the rule of law demands. Clearly, the true rule of law has been discarded in favor of the tyrannical color of law.

The reason Trump and MAGA conservatives are fighting so hard is that, in truth, the rule of law has been eroded for sometime. The true rule of law is a narrow path phenomenon because, just like a sports game, the purpose of being fair is destroyed when even the tiniest of principles is violated.

Trump, like the barons of King John’s day, have the resources and will to fight the establishment. As a result, everyone is seeing the truth: the bureaucrats, corrupt politicians, DAs, and the rest of the globalist stakeholders in reality demand absolute power for themselves, and despotism for the rest.

Trump and MAGA conservatives are fighting to restore the true rule of law, where the same rules, laws, and due process is provided to all people, no matter their rank or station. One day, if this process continues on its course, true justice will restored.
