(Steve Straub) Early Thursday morning Ukraine’s foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba begged for urgent help from the world community, especially the West, as Russian military forces launched brutal attacks against his country as part of an unprovoked full-scale invasion.

“Putin has just launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine,” Kuleba wrote on Twitter. “Peaceful Ukrainian cities are under strikes. This is a war of aggression. Ukraine will defend itself and will win. The world can and must stop Putin. The time to act is now.”
Kuleba also claimed, for good reason, that the future of Europe and the world is at stake and that the world must act together to accomplish the following five things:
1. Devastating sanctions on Russia NOW, including SWIFT
2. Fully isolate Russia by all means, in all formats
3. Weapons, equipment for Ukraine
4. Financial assistance
5. Humanitarian assistance
Kuleba later added “To Ukrainians around the globe: Putin attacked, but no one is running away. Army, diplomats, everyone is working. Ukraine fights. Ukraine will defend itself. Ukraine will win. Share the truth about Putin’s invasion in your countries and call on governments to act immediately.”
Some are claiming that the Russian invasion is limited to the eastern part of the country but Ukraine’s foreign minister put that notion to rest in a definitive way:
“Latest update. No, this is not a Russian invasion only in the east of Ukraine, but a full-scale attack from multiple directions,” Kuleba claimed. “No, the Ukrainian defense has not collapsed. Ukrainian army took the fight. Ukraine stands with both feet on the ground & continues to defend itself.”

And just for fun:
