Tesla CEO Elon Musk once again slammed Joe Biden in social media posts, responding to remarks about U.S. manufacturing, calling Biden a “damp socket puppet.”
Musk reacted after Biden tweeted “I meant it when I said the future was going to be made right here in America,” along with a video of him in conversation with General Motors CEO Mary Barra.
“Companies like GM and Ford are building more electric vehicles here at home than ever before,” Biden’s tweet also read, completely ignoring Musk’s electric car empire.

Musk hit back “Starts with a T, ends with an A. ESL in the middle.”

In a further tweet Musk charged that “Biden is treating the American public like fools.”

Musk has a point, given that Tesla’s Model Y and Model 3, both made domestically, are by far the top-selling electric vehicles in the U.S. ahead of GM and Ford.
The future is ALREADY being made right here in America by Tesla, who has the #1 and #2 EVs in the US.

It’s not the first time Musk has expressed anger toward Biden in this way.
Last year, Musk responded to someone who asked why Biden continues to ignore SpaceX’s ‘Inspiration4’ mission, the world’s first all-civilian crew spaceflight, that has raised hundreds of millions of dollars for charity:

Musk has also called Biden a socket puppet before, referring to the president’s relationship with the United Auto Workers union.

Musk has called Biden’s ‘Build Back Better’ bill “insane,” reasoning that adding trillions to the national deficit isn’t the way forward.
Aside from slamming Biden, Musk also took time to express support for the now 45 mile long convey of Canadian truckers protesting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s vaccine mandates.

Despite there now being some 50,000 trucks making up the convey, and a huge swell of support among Canadians, Trudeau has called it a ‘fringe movement’.
Trudeau says the trucker convoy making its way to Ottawa is a "small fringe minority" who hold "unacceptable views" and "do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other." pic.twitter.com/HtLaLRaUIQ

Musk also followed up with more general comments about his feelings on government mandates:
If you scare people enough, they will demand removal of freedom. This is the path to tyranny.
