AP Writer Does Despicable Hit Job On Ashli Babbit Only 3 Days Before The Anniversary of Her Shooting Death…Interviews Ex-Girlfriend Of Ashli’s Husband To Prove She Wasn’t a “Martyr”

(Patty McMurray) Today is a good day for Michael Biesecker of the AP. His colleagues are likely high-fiving him as they pass him in the hallway, and his far-left college buddies are probably lighting up his message. Finally, one year after her murder, the investigative AP reporter struck pay-dirt on the murdered Air Force veteran Ashli Babbit with an exclusive interview with the ex-wife of her widowed husband.

by Patty McMurray, January 3rd, 2021

The AP reporter shared a link to his Babbit hit piece that included an awful photo of the Air Force vet on his Twitter account. Biesecker wrote:

Ex-President Donald Trump and his supporters have sought to portray Ashli Babbitt as a righteous martyr. But the life of the Air Force veteran from California was more complicated than the heroic portrait presented by Trump and his allies.

Biesecker’s hit piece on Ashli Babbit, based on one woman’s testimony, is trending on Twitter, which doesn’t say much, considering it’s a platform that regularly restricts or outright bans prominent conservatives and elected Republicans like President Trump and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, leaving mostly leftist Democrats to talk amongst themselves and attack the few remaining conservatives on the once vibrant social media platform.

Instead of referring to Ashli Babbit as a US Air Force veteran in his hit piece, Biesecker opts for calling her a “future insurrectionist.”

The first time Celeste Norris laid eyes on Ashli Babbitt, the future insurrectionist had just rammed her vehicle three times with an SUV and was pounding on the window, challenging her to a fight.

Norris says the bad blood between them began in 2015 when Babbitt engaged in a monthslong extramarital affair with Norris’ longtime live-in boyfriend. When she learned of the relationship, Norris called Babbitt’s husband and told him she was cheating.

“She pulls up yelling and screaming,” Norris said in an exclusive interview with The Associated Press, recounting the July 29, 2016, road-rage incident in Prince Frederick, Maryland. “It took me a good 30 seconds to figure out who she was. … Just all sorts of expletives, telling me to get out of the car, that she was going to beat my ass.”

Terrified and confused, Norris dialed 911 and waited for law enforcement. Babbitt was later charged with numerous misdemeanors.

The definition of a “misdemeanor” is A minor wrongdoing.

The attack on Norris is an example of erratic and sometimes threatening behavior by Babbitt, who was shot by a police officer while at the vanguard of the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. Former President Donald Trump and his supporters have sought to portray her as a righteous martyr who was unjustly killed.

The crack investigative reporter for the AP was able to take one woman’s story, which resulted in numerous misdemeanors for Ms. Babbit, and somehow tie it to her murder inside the Capitol on January 6, 2020.

The attack on Norris is an example of erratic and sometimes threatening behavior by Babbitt…

The AP reporter’s lame attempt to make the reader believe Ashli Babbit’s murder was justified because of one incident that resulted in MISDEMEANOR charges is laughable, especially considering how many times the same publication replaced the name of Darrell Brooks, a Black Lives Matter activist who murdered 6 people and injured several others when he allegedly plowed into them with his vehicle at the Waukesha Christmas parade, with “SUV.”

Here are just a few examples of AP headlines following the horrific terror attack that the AP wrote:

A case report from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office obtained by the AP shows Ashli Babbitt was issued a criminal summons on charges of reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor defined under Maryland law as engaging in conduct “that creates a substantial risk of death or serious physical injury to another” and punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. She was also charged with malicious destruction of property for the damage to Norris’ vehicle.

Court records show those charges were later updated to include traffic offenses — reckless driving, negligent driving, and failure to control a vehicle’s speed to avoid a collision.

In other words, once Ashli’s case was heard in court, the initial charges against her were reduced to misdemeanors. Instead of presenting the court’s decision on Babbit’s case, Biesecker instead chose to tell the story ex-girlfriend of Ashli Babbit through the lens of a woman Aaron Babbit left before he married Ashli.

The AP reporter uses examples of Ashli’s social media posts that include discussions about “Q” and support for President Trump as further evidence that Babbit should not be considered a “martyr” by the general public. Although he doesn’t directly say it, Biesecker seems to suggest her social media posts that proved her allegiance to Trump and had references to “QAnon” are reason enough for her murder to be ignored.

On social media, Babbitt identified as a Libertarian and ardent supporter of the Second Amendment. Her posts included videos of profane rants against Democrats, COVID-19 mask mandates and illegal immigration.

Her Twitter account, which was taken down after her death, was rife with references to the QAnon conspiracy theory, which centers on the baseless belief that Trump has secretly battled deep-state enemies and a cabal of Satan-worshiping cannibals that includes prominent Democrats who operate a child sex trafficking ring.

Trump has repeatedly insisted Babbitt was murdered, and she has achieved martyr status among Trump supporters. Her name and likeness now appear on T-shirts and flags at pro-Trump rallies.

Later in the article, the AP reporter, who only mentions Babbit’s brave and honorable service to her nation one time, when he states that Babbit’s lawyer who defended her in the case against Norris, made repeated references to her US Military service. It’s worth noting that the judge acquitted Babbit on the criminal charges.

No transcript from the hearing was available, but Norris said the lawyer defending Babbitt made repeated references to her employment at the local nuclear power plant and years of military service, which included deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Babbitt served on active duty with the U.S. Air Force and then in the reserves and the Air National Guard until 2016. A judge acquitted Babbitt on the criminal charges.

And like icing on the cake for the left who is desperately trying to pin the January 6th “Fed-surrection” on President Trump and his supporters, Biesecker pleads the case for the Capitol Police officer who shot the unarmed veteran dead, as he attempts to justify the actions of Capitol Police Officer Mike Byrd, who shot and killed the unarmed US Air Force veteran as a SWAT team stood almost directly behind her in the room where she was shot.

In his Twitter profile, Biesecker refers to himself as a “sleep-deprived dad.” I wonder how many sleepless nights Ashli Babbit’s father must have had since the day his unarmed daughter, who served honorably in the United States Air Force was murdered in cold-blood by Lt. Mike Byrd, who at the time of Babbit’s shooting death, was under review for leaving a loaded Glock 22 pistol inside the bathroom of the structure’s visitor center.

Lt. Mike Byrd forgot to take the weapon with him upon leaving the restroom Monday, and it was found “during a routine security sweep” later in the day, officials told Roll Call.

What is our mission? Why do we post what we do?

Our mission here is to curate (share) articles and information that we feel is important for the evolution of consciousness. Most of that information is written or produced by other people and organizations, which means it does not represent our views or opinions as managing staff of Stillness in the Storm. Some of the content is written by one of our writers and is clearly marked accordingly. Just because we share a CNN story that speaks badly about the President doesn’t mean we’re promoting anti-POTUS views. We’re reporting on the fact as it was reported, and that this event is important for us to know so we can better contend with the challenges of gaining freedom and prosperity. Similarly, just because we share a pro/anti-[insert issue or topic] content, such as a pro-second amendment piece or an anti-military video doesn’t mean we endorse what is said. Again, information is shared on this site for the purpose of evolving consciousness. In our opinion, consciousness evolves through the process of accumulating knowledge of the truth and contemplating that knowledge to distill wisdom and improve life by discovering and incorporating holistic values. Thus, sharing information from many different sources, with many different perspectives is the best way to maximize evolution. What’s more, the mastery of mind and discernment doesn’t occur in a vacuum, it is much like the immune system, it needs regular exposure to new things to stay healthy and strong. If you have any questions as to our mission or methods please reach out to us at [email protected].
