(Patty McMurray) Then 17-yr-old Kyle Rittenhouse traveled to Kenosha, WI from his home state of Illinois in August 2020 to help business owners to defend their property from violent rioters. Unfortunately, the armed Rittenhouse was caught in the middle of more than one violent confrontation with rioters. Rittenhouse was charged with shooting three men and killing two on August 25, 2020, during the Black Lives Matter riots in Kenosha, WI, over the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

During his trial that began last week, the lead prosecutor Thomas Binger attempted to paint Rittenhouse as a cold-blooded murderer with an AR-15 who was reckless and was not acting in self-defense when he shot the rioters.
“We have a person armed with an AR-15 shooting an unarmed man,” Binger said during a hearing for the case Monday. I don’t think you get to kill somebody with a gun when they’re unarmed.”
Gaige Grosskreutz was one of three people who Kyle Rittenhouse shot during the Black Lives Matter riots in Kenosha, WI. He testified in court today about what happened. Rittenhouse and his attorneys couldn’t have scripted a better response from Grosskreutz, who admitted that on August 25, 2020, he was pointing his gun at Rittenhouse before Rittenhouse shot him.
Corey Chirafisi, one of the lawyers on Rittenhouse’s defense team, asked Grosskreutz. “It wasn’t until you pointed your gun at him, advanced on him with your gun … that he fired, right?”
“Correct,” he replied.
Legal Mindset, a “red-pilled” attorney and host of Legal Mindset on YouTube, re-tweeted the video of himself and his two co-hosts reviewing the exchange in real-time:
“That’s it! Directed verdict—directed verdict on all the murder charges!” the attornies shouted.
“Kyle knows!” they shouted.
“How do you not acquit after that?” they asked referring to the witnesses’ damning testimony.
“Look at Binger!” the lawyers shouted as they all laughed, as the camera flashed to the prosecuting attorney who was squirming in his seat while the lawyer next to him was literally doing a face plant. “Look at Big Boy!” they shouted!

Epoch Times – Rittenhouse had earlier fired on Joseph Rosenbaum, who witnesses said was acting aggressively and lunged at the teenager in the parking lot of a car dealership. Rosenbaum died from his wounds. After Rittenhouse took off running, he was attacked by Anthony Huber, who swung a skateboard at his head. Rittenhouse also is accused of fatally shooting Huber.
Thomas Binger asked Grosskreutz why he hadn’t fired first?
“That’s not the kind of person that I am. That’s not why I was out there,” Grosskreutz said. “It’s not who I am. And definitely not somebody I would want to become.”
Jacob Marshall, a roommate of Grosskreutz, posted on Facebook shortly after the shooting that Grosskreutz conveyed to him that “his only regret was not killing the kid and hesitating to pull the gun [sic] before emptying the entire mag into him.”
Grosskreutz denied making those comments. Marshall is scheduled to testify on Nov. 10.
Rittenhouse, 18, had been in Kenosha to help defend businesses against rioters and medically assist people in distress. Grosskreutz, 23, who has worked as a paramedic, also went to the city to help with medical situations.
Just when viewers didn’t think it could get any worse for the prosecution— things actually got worse—much worse!
The Milwaukee resident, who was active in so-called social justice protests in the wake of George Floyd’s death, acknowledged that his concealed carry permit was expired, meaning he couldn’t legally carry the .40-caliber handgun he had with him that night.
“I believe in the Second Amendment. I’m for people’s right to carry and bear arms,” he said. “And that night was no different than any other day. It’s keys, phone, wallet, gun.”
Chirafisi pressed the witness on how he’d told officers after the shooting that his Glock fell from his belt clip.
“You didn’t take the Glock out of your back here and run with it?” he asked.
“I did,” Grosskreutz said.
“So it didn’t fall off your waist; it was in your hand?” the lawyer said.
“That’s correct,” Grosskreutz said.
Grosskreutz said he didn’t see his comments to police as a lie and also pushed back when Chirafisi asserted he was chasing Rittenhouse.
Chirafisi noted that Grosskreutz quickly brought a $10 million civil suit against the city and county of Kenosha for allegedly failing to keep the peace during the rioting and that there was no mention of Grosskreutz holding a weapon when he was shot.
“You left that part out, right?” he said.
“That’s correct,” Grosskreutz said.
Thomas Binger, the prosecutor whose case is blowing up in real-time, attempted to get one of the witnesses to admit he had no idea about the intentions of Joseph Rosenbaum before he was shot. The video below (language warning) makes it pretty clear that Rosenbaum wasn’t there to play games, as he “yelled f*** you!” at Rittenhouse and then “reached for the gun.”
