‘We Told You So’: Florida Now Has Lowest Covid Rates in America, While Oppressive Northeast Gets Hit with New Wave

(Kyle Becker) One state in America has riled the Covid tyrants more than any other: Florida. The Sunshine State has constantly been on the frontlines, and the front pages, of every twist and turn in the seemingly endless coronavirus ‘pandemic.’

Now we have word that all of the concern-trolling about a state that dared to respect Americans’  rights throughout the pandemic was all for nought. The state has refused to enforce mask mandates, outlawed vaccine passports, and has pushed back on the federal government’s usurpation of state authority at every opportunity. The freedom-championing governor has now been vindicated for taking a stand against the authoritarians: Florida now has the lowest Covid-19 case rates in America.

The latest numbers were touted by Clay Travis, who notes that the media that should be blaring this development in headlines is nowhere to be found on the news.

You hate to say “we told you so,” but… we told you so. Florida isn’t the only southern state who is experience a decrease in cases. According to the Daily Caller, “the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Region 4, which consists of Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida, is down more than 73% since Sept. 1, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).”

Meanwhile, northeastern and beltway states with oppressive Covid reglations continue to get hit by the latest Delta wave. “In HHS Region 3 (Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia), hospitalizations surged almost 1,000% from late-July to late-September, and have hardly fallen since,” the Daily Caller noted.

“Over the past two weeks, only four states saw a double-digit increase in COVID-19 hospitalization rate: Michigan, New Hampshire, Minnesota and Colorado,” the Daily Caller continues. “At the same time, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida and Louisiana all saw reductions in hospitalization rate of at least 30%,” the report added.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has made himself enemy #1 of the Covid tyrants by showing that the state can withstand the coronavirus pandemic without severely curbing the rights of citizens. Despite having one of the nation’s highest elderly populations, the state has once again weathered a seasonal spike and still falls below restrictive states like New York and New Jersey in terms of state Covid-related mortality rate. The state’s case rate has fallen 90% since mid-August without locking down or implementing vaccine mandates.

President Biden recently mocked Americans who value freedom and bodily autonomy, which the radical left held as sacrosanct until it became politically inexpedient.

“So the idea is that – look, two things that concern me, one are those who just try to make this a political issue. Freedom. I have the freedom to kill you with my Covid. No, come on. Freedom,” he said.

It turns out that it was the radical left that weaponized Covid from the very beginning to restrict Americans’ freedom. As earlier predicted, it has resulted in unnecessary regulations that have done nothing significantly to ‘stop the spread’ – just like they haven’t for the last 588 days.
