(Steve Watson) Only 4 out of 15 eateries asked for papers
Related The Orwellian vaccine passport agenda relies on the lie of the “social contract”
by Steve Watson, September 17th, 2021
CBS Investigate show Inside Edition has discovered that most restaurants in New York City are not enforcing vaccine passport mandates, which came into effect in late August.
Reporters shot undercover video and found that 11 out of 15 restaurants seated them inside without asking for proof of vaccination, going directly against the mandate by Mayor Bill de Blasio, who ordered businesses to begin implementing vaccine checkpoints or face $1,000 fines.
Watch:
While polls have found a majority of Americans are on board with vaccine passports, it’s clear that the actual implementation of them is a different matter.
Many establishments do not have the staff or means to check the papers of every person coming in, and after months of lockdowns, many simply cannot afford to turn people away.
Critics of the system, including Dr. Drew, have asserted that vaccine passports which ban the unvaccinated from venues like bars and restaurants are a new form of “segregation.”
