In a video posted to Twitter, Ward said the hand recount has been completed and that an “additional count is underway.”

Ward also spoke about an indictment from Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich related to votes that were allegedly cast in the state’s election by “dead people.”

“The hand count was completed,” Ward said. “And the ballots were moved from the arena to a smaller, also very secure building on the property to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and the additional count is underway.”

She continued: “This double-check is using machines… to do a count of the actual physical ballots. Now, these are not voting machines. They are not from Dominion or any other voting company. They are not going to be tabulating any of the votes. These machines will simply be counting the number of pages — the number of ballots. They work by stacking ballots upon them and then the machines count the corners of the pieces of paper.”

“The primary reason for this double-check is that there may have been inconsistencies that were found in America’s audit,” Ward said. “This additional step will increase the time it takes to complete the audit, but as Senator Fann and the state senate in Arizona who commissioned this audit has stated, ‘Accuracy is much more important than speed.’”

“Allegedly, fraudulent votes that were cast by dead people are being investigated, and this shows the importance of purging our voter files accurately and promptly,” Ward said. “I am glad that we are sending a message that we take voter integrity seriously here in Arizona.”

A voter from Maricopa County has been indicted for allegedly casting a ballot in her dead mother’s name in the 2020 presidential election.

Brnovich announced in a press release that Tracey Kay McKee was indicted by a state grand jury for one count of perjury for allegedly filling out an early voting ballot belonging to her mother and one count of illegal voting.

McKee pled not guilty on both counts after she was accused of turning in a fraudulent ballot to election officials cast in her dead mother’s name.

McKee is facing up to 5 years in jail for illegal voting and up to 2.5 years for perjury.

McKee’s name was part of a list of 33 suspected dead voters compiled by conservative activist Merissa Hamilton.

Hamilton gave the list of names to the AG to investigate for voter fraud.

Arizona Republican Senate President Karen Fann says the audit ballot totals do not match the numbers from Maricopa County, setting up potentially a gigantic problem in the battleground state.

Fann said the number of 2020 general election ballots tallied during the audit doesn’t match the total documented by Maricopa County officials.

And she does not know how far off the numbers are.

Fann said a Senate attorney mentioned a few weeks ago that the audit tally may not match the county total.

Even almost eight months later, a battle is on to audit and examine just what went on in November in the battleground state.

Arizona GOP Chairwoman Dr. Kelli Ward recently threatened that there “could be arrests of people who are refusing to comply.“
