During an interview on Newsmax TV, Gorka said he was told by top FBI officials on the 7th floor at the Hoover building in Washington, D.C., that the bureau viewed the Trump administration as “the enemy.”

“We know that there is a political perversion of the intelligence community by Obama holdovers,” Gorka said.

“I was given a special task, a counter-intelligence task to work on in regard to the Middle East. I wanted to get three of my fellow pupils who were FBI agents detailed out to me at the White House. That should be easy… It should take two weeks,” he continued.

“For six months it didn’t happen. Every week I went back to the HR Department and said, “Where are my guys? Where are my agents with the clearances?” They never arrived and finally a good guy in the FBI came to me and said the following. These are his words, senior FBI agent. “Sebastian, you need to understand. You’re never going to get those detailees because the 7th floor of the Hoover Building looks at the Trump Administration as “the enemy.” The man elected by 64 million Americans is the enemy to the FBI!” he added.

The witch hunts against Donald Trump are never-ending.

Democrats are considering the possibility of hauling in Donald Trump to testify before their partisan January 6 commission that is “investigating” the incident at the U.S. Capitol.

During an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” House Majority Whip James Clyburn said Trump could be called to testify before the House committee “if that’s what it takes.”

“Oh, if it comes to that, they should go wherever the facts lead. They may be able to get what they want and need without him testifying,” Clyburn said.

“I would not want to see a former president testifying in such a situation as this. But if that’s what it takes in order to get to the bottom of this, because this is more than any one person. This is this country,” he added.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is fighting back against Republicans who may join Democrats’ latest witch hunt.

Punchbowl News reported that McCarthy will reportedly strip any Republican member of committee assignments if they serve on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 committee.

“During a closed-door meeting with freshman House Republicans, McCarthy said: If they do, ‘they better be ready to get all their committee assignments from her,” the outlet reported.

“Republicans, McCarthy said, get their committee assignments from Republicans — not from Democrats. Or else,” the report continued.

Pelosi knows this is all about politics, so she may select a Republican who is vehemently against Donald Trump to serve on the committee so she appears “bipartisan.”

For her part, Cheney has refused to back down in her feud with Trump.

Back in May, House Republicans removed Cheney as GOP conference chair over her opposition to Trump.

According to a report, Cheney “secretly orchestrated” an op-ed in the Washington Post from all living former secretaries of defense slamming Trump’s handling of the military in January, according to the New Yorker.

Cheney has also been very much in favor of a partisan Jan. 6 commission.

“What happened on Jan. 6 is unprecedented in our history. And I think that it’s very important that the commission be able to focus on that,” Cheney said a few months ago.

Cheney added more fuel to their feud when she was asked if Trump should be prosecuted for his role in Jan. 6 attacks.

Back in February, Wyoming Republican officials overwhelmingly voted in favor of censuring Cheney and called on her to resign.
