“A newly-obtained video shows United States Capitol Police officers speaking with several January 6 protestors—including Jacob Chansley, the so-called ‘Q shaman’—inside the Capitol that afternoon,” American Greatness reported.
“One officer, identified in the video and confirmed by charging documents as Officer Keith Robishaw, appears to tell Chansely’s group they won’t stop them from entering the building,” the report noted.
“We’re not against . . . you need to show us . . . no attacking, no assault, remain calm,” Robishaw says.
“This has to be peaceful,” Chansley and another protester then yelled at the crowd. “We have the right to peacefully assemble.”

“The video directly contradicts what government prosecutors allege in a complaint filed January 8 against Chansley,” American Greatness notes.
“Robishaw and other officers calmed the protestors somewhat and directed them to leave the area from the same way they had entered. Chansley approached Officer Robishaw and screamed, among other things, that this was their house, and that they were there to take the Capitol, and to get Congressional leaders.”
“Chansley later is seen entering the Senate chambers with a police officer behind him; he led several protesters in prayer and sat in Vice President Mike Pence’s chair,” the report continued.
The optics from the Capitol riot are very strange. Capitol police stood down as oddly dressed protesters entered the Senate chambers; criminals entered Speaker Pelosi’s chambers and stole a laptop, which the thief purportedly wanted to sell to Russian intelligence (a red flag about credibility); dozens entered the Capitol building after literally having the door held open for them, and they merely walked in a line and took pictures; and a CNN reporter and a pro-Antifa/BLM agitator were on the scene at one of the oddest moments — the deadly shooting of Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt. The Trump supporter was the only person proven to have died directly due to the events at the riot.
In April, the Inspector General for the Capitol Police provided testimony that corroborates the contents of a 104-page report on the police’s role in the January 6th riot in Washington D.C. But there was a critical piece of information missing: Who gave the order.
“An order to hold back heavy riot-control weapons left Capitol Police at a grave disadvantage as front-line officers, vastly outnumbered, fought to protect Congress from a violent mob Jan. 6,” the Washington Post reported.
“Inspector General Michael Bolton told the House Administration Committee that a deputy assistant chief of police instructed officers not to use the weapons — including stingballs and 40mm launchers — out of concern that ‘they could potentially cause life-altering injury and/or death, if they were misused in any way’,” the Post said.
“Bolton did not identify the chief, but he said that had officers employed such measures, ‘it certainly would have helped us that day to enhance our ability to protect the Capitol’,” the report continued. The New York Times also reported on the development, identifying the official’s position as an “assistant chief.”
There is also the matter of Speaker Pelosi’s role in the Congressional security on January 6th. The House Sergeant at Arms ignored warnings from now-resigned Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund that the security imprint was insufficient given advanced reports of a pre-planned attack. Pipebombs were placed at the RNC and DNC offices, although we do not know who placed the bombs there. Major General William J. Walker, the commanding general of the D.C. National Guard, confirmed in Congressional testimony that the National Guard presence and response was limited due to concerns about “optics.”
The newly uncovered video is yet another piece in the puzzle that leads one to the conclusion that Capitol police either were negligent in their essential duties or were ordered to be complicit in allowing protesters to enter the Capitol building. The event would provide the Democratic Party with the “optics” to prosecute its impeachment against Donald Trump and to violate the civil liberties of its political opposition.
