Many may not be aware that Harris dated former television host and actor Montel Williams around 2001.

Montel said they “briefly dated” about 20 years ago while they were both single and seems frustrated having to talk about it.

“@KamalaHarris and I briefly dated about 20 years ago when we were both single. So what?” he tweeted on Friday, November 13. Showing his support for Harris, he continued, “I have great respect for Sen. Harris. I have to wonder if the same stories about her dating history would have been written if she were a male candidate?”

But Harris attended the Eighth Annual Race to Erase MS in Los Angeles in 2001 and the video is making the rounds across social media this week.

At the time, Harris and Williams can be seen with the TV host’s daughter, Ashley.

Williams placed one of his hands around Harris’ waist in the images.

Kamala Harris got her first taste of the limelight back in 2001 when she briefly dated popular talk show host Montel Williams.

The presidential hopeful, 54, was working for the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office at the time, and a photo of her and Williams, 63, ran in Ebony and Jet after they attended a gala event in Los Angeles.

She is identified as Williams’ girlfriend in both outlets.

Harris was also identified as the mother of Ashley in Jet, forcing the magazine to print a retraction and point out that Ashley’s mother was actually Williams’ first wife Rochelle.

DailyMail.com obtained video from the event that shows Harris walking the red carpet while holding Williams’ hand and then posing for photographers with her arm around his waist.

Harris’ first significant political role was an appointment by her powerful then-boyfriend Willie Brown to a California medical board that has been criticized as a landing spot for patronage jobs and kickbacks.

Then 30, Harris was dating 60-year-old Willie Brown, at the time the Democratic speaker of the California State Assembly, when he placed her on the California Medical Assistance Commission in 1994.

The position paid over $70,000 per year, $120,700 in current money, and Harris served on the board until 1998.

Harris, now 56, and Brown, now 87, started dating in the spring of 1994, showing up arm-in-arm at numerous high-profile functions, including Brown’s lavish parties and celebrity galas. He has been separated but not divorced from his wife Blanche Vitero since the 1980s and has maintained a string of girlfriends over the years.

That June of 1994, Harris took a leave of absence from her job as a deputy prosecutor at the district attorney’s office in Alameda County, where she had worked for four years after graduating from law school. Brown appointed Harris to the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, a position that paid $97,000 annually, which would be $167,000 in 2019. Five months later, Harris resigned from the insurance board, and Brown immediately appointed her to the California Medical Assistance Commission.

    Therefore why do you believe that the person in this video is actually Kamala Harris ?
    The real Kamala Harris is long gone and has been replaced by a Male cross-dresser body double actor.
