(Cassandra Fairbanks) House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney is reportedly mulling a run for president in 2024 — despite the fact that seemingly only a handful of neoconservative writers in DC actually like her.

Cheney is currently down 54-21 in a primary matchup poll with her challenger Anthony Bouchard.
“I’m not ruling anything in or out — I’ve been here a long time,” she told The New York Post when asked if she would consider running.
Cheney’s popularity tanked after she voted to impeach President Donald Trump. The power hungry politician has also faced criticism for constantly supporting the whims of Nancy Pelosi. She told the Post that she believes that Republicans who supported the protest on January 6 should be disqualified from running.
“I think we have a huge number of interesting candidates, but I think that we’re going to be in a good position to be able to take the White House. I do think that some of our candidates who led the charge, particularly the senators who led the unconstitutional charge, not to certify the election, you know, in my view that’s disqualifying,” she said.
“I think that adherence to the Constitution, adherence to your oath has got to be at the top of the list. So, I think, you know that certainly will be a factor that I’m looking at and I think a number of voters will be looking at as they decide about ’24.”
The Gateway Pundit previously asked Bouchard what he will do differently than Cheney, and he did not hold back.
“First off, I won’t give cover and comfort to Nancy Pelosi and the radical left like Liz Cheney did when she voted yes for the absurd impeachment of President Trump. Secondly, I disagree with Congresswoman Cheney for her votes in support of failed globalist nation-building and endless foreign wars. I support the Trump foreign policy of peace through strength and bringing countries together,” Bouchard explained. “And finally, I am a strong free-market conservative who believes the federal government needs to get out of the way and let American companies and workers succeed.”
The delusional Never-Trumper still thinks she will win her primary, though.
“My primary is clearly going to be an important one — I am more than happy anytime and any place to debate anybody who wants to about what happened on Jan. 6 and why our oath of office requires that we make sure that that never happens again,” she said. ” And I feel confident about prevailing in my primary.”
