The report said that the home worth $1.4 million is in a “secluded mini-compound tucked into L.A.’s rustic and semi-remote Topanga Canyon.” The home was sold to “a corporate entity that public records show is controlled by Patrisse Khan-Cullors, 37-year-old social justice visionary and co-founder of the Black Lives Matter movement.” Cullors was caught on video bragging about being a “trained Marxist”:
“We are trained Marxists. We are super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories. And I think that what we really tried to do is build a movement that could be utilized by many, many black folk,” Cullors said in the interview with Jared Ball of The Real News Network.
Patrisse Khan-Cullors was immediately slammed on social media after the news broke about her purchasing the house in a virtually all-white area:
Jamil Jivani, the founder of the Policing Literacy Initiative, echoed, “I can’t believe how badly some people got played by BLM. Wow.”
Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?
The news is important to all people because it is where we come to know new things about the world, which leads to the development of more life goals that lead to life wisdom. The news also serves as a social connection tool, as we tend to relate to those who know about and believe the things we do. With the power of an open truth-seeking mind in hand, the individual can grow wise and the collective can prosper.
