(Anthony T.) Liars! Many Senators vowed that they would object to Electoral votes from States that committed voter fraud in the 2020 election but after the Capitol building was taken over, many lawmakers decided to go back on their word.

One Republican Representative Rep. Jody Hice, of Georgia, stayed true to her word and objected to the Georgia Election results but when Mike Pence asked if any Senator co-signed her objection she replied: “Mr. President, prior to the actions and events of today, we did, but following the events of today, it appears that some senators have withdrawn their objection.”
Kelly Loeffler who went on stage with Trump and claimed she was going to object to Georgia’s election results backed out claiming that the siege of Congress made her change her decision.

At least four Republican lawmakers — including Sen. Kelly Loeffler, who lost a special election in Georgia — said they had changed their minds and would vote to uphold the Electoral College results after having previously said they would object to them. https://t.co/9yxQFPs53j

CNN wasn’t silent and had this to share:
GOP Rep. Jody Hice, of Georgia, objected to the election results in the state claiming they were “faulty and fraudulent.”
When asked by Vice President Mike Pence whether these objections were presented in writing and signed by one senator, Hice said: “Mr. President, prior to the actions and events of today, we did, but following the events of today, it appears that some senators have withdrawn their objection.”
Hice’s response drew vigorous applause from other lawmakers.
“In that case, the objection cannot be entertained,” Pence said in response.
Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler had indicated earlier today that she would object, but withdrew it after protestors stormed the Capitol Wednesday saying, “I cannot now object to the certification of these electors.”

NPR added to the story too:
Heading into Wednesday’s Electoral College counting process, 14 Republican senators had said they planned to object to at least one state’s results.
But that number dwindled after a mob overtook the U.S. Capitol building Wednesday afternoon, stoked by President Trump and his continued falsehoods about the election’s legitimacy.
Sen. Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., said on the Senate floor after the proceedings resumed Wednesday night that she had intended to object to her state’s results but no longer could “in good conscience.”
Republican Sens. James Lankford of Oklahoma, Steve Daines of Montana and Mike Braun of Indiana also said reversed course on objecting to any state’s results.
But Sens. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., and Roger Marshall, R-Kan., went ahead with their objections.
Well, it looks like these Republican politicians did what politicians do best.
Lie!
