Fantastic post from Dave over at Lightworkers XM. He has been developing a strong network of manufacturers and designers using the emerging medium of 3D printing to produce high quality affordable components. We have had several discussions related to how this technology can transform the planet very quickly.
What is so amazing about 3D printing, is the ability to bypass the Corporate systems, and make basically what ever you can design, locally. If your a designer you can produce a very high quality part or item for cheap, and all the cost goes right into the hands of the maker, no Corporate profits to worry about, driving up the price.
I know Dave also has aligned himself with some conscious individuals who realize the need for production which is centered around sustainability and harmony with the earth.
Technology is not something we should throw out with the bathwater, as it were, but instead create clean technology which supports the actual community instead of the Corporate Controllers.
