(Kyle Becker) FBI Director Christopher Wray gave testimony to the U.S. Congress on “domestic terrorism” today that is far from “intellectually honest” and is outright dangerous.

Wray has presided over a Federal Bureau of Investigation that has been a complete failure since he took over in 2017. He did not hesitate to consider the Capitol riots on January 6th “domestic terrorism.”
“That siege was criminal behavior and it’s behavior we, the FBI, view as domestic terrorism,” Wray said.

“January 6th was not an isolated event,” he continued. “The problem of domestic terrorism has been metastasizing around the country.”
Indeed. But Wray could not attribute any murders to the planned Capitol attack, and all of the people who died due to the riots itself were Trump supporters. Wray would not even reveal the cause of death for deceased Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick.
“Wray said that the FBI cannot yet disclose how Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died following the siege,” Just the News reported.
“We can’t yet disclose a cause of death at this stage,” Wray said at the hearing.
“But you have determined the cause of death?” Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa incredulously asked him.
“I didn’t say that. We’re not at a point where we can disclose or confirm the cause of death,” Wray replied, and added that an investigation is still ongoing.
On the other hand, Wray refused to call the violent left-wing extremist organization Antifa a “terrorist group.” In fact, such left-wing groups were both left out of the FBI’s probe, while Wray also asserted that there was no evidence for the “conspiracy theory” that Antifa members were at the Capitol riot.
“We have not seen evidence of that, at this stage, certainly,” Wray responded when Durbin asked him about it.
“I joined my Republican colleagues, unequivocally in condemning left-wing violence,” Durbin also said. “But let’s stop pretending that the threat of Antifa is equivalent to the white supremacist threat.”
“Antifa, which stands for anti-fascist, is a radical, leaderless leftist political movement that uses armed, violent protest as a method to create what supporters say is a more just and equitable country,” the New York Times reported in August.
Antifa wielded violence, arson and other criminal acts to advance the group’s anarcho-communist ideological ends. It killed and injured Americans to further its political ideology. It led a secessionist insurrection movement in Seattle. This is known as “terrorism.”
“Antifa and Black Lives Matter militants seized six blocks of Seattle in early June, dubbing the area an ‘autonomous zone,’ CHAZ. They set up signs telling visitors they were ‘leaving the United States,” PJ Media noted.
Christopher Wray assuredly knows this. There are no terrorism courses that teach “only right-wing groups can be terrorists.” But this is effectively what Christopher Wray is arguing, despite months-long riots beginning since May of last year, which killed at least nine Americans and caused $2 billion in damages.
Senator Grassley rightly blasted Wray’s testimony as “intellectually dishonest.”
While the mainstream media continues to flatly deny that any Antifa radicals were at the January 6th uprising, we know at a bare minimum that it is vast overstatement.
The shooting of Ashli Babbit was captured by an Antifa-supporting activist named John Sullivan, who the FBI charged for participating in inflaming the riot. Furthermore, there are questions about the agitator whose actions led to Babbitt’s death — a suspect name Zachary Alam.

Zachary Alam, noticeably dressed in a furry hat, is handed a helmet by a fellow insurgent, whom we now know is a Texas winery owner named Christopher Ray Grider. Also involved is one Chad Barrett Jones of Kentucky, who is accused of breaking windows with a flagpole. The New York Times omitted both Alam’s and Sullivan’s names from a report on the Babbitt shooting, despite both being key figures of interest.
“Video footage showed Alam — with his mask pulled down — pushing past security personnel and screaming “F— the blue!” before reaching the doors of the Speaker’s Lobby, which leads to the House Chamber,” an affidavit said.
“We must examine the force of domestic extremism that span the ideological spectrum,” Grassley said. adding. “But a narrow view of these matters, would be intellectually dishonest.”
A mass shooting in 2019 by an Antifa member was noted by Jack Posobiec, who is authoring a book on Antifa.

FBI Director Wray’s testimony today puts a face on the abysmal failures of the Federal Bureau of Investigation since 2017. No one should trust a single word uttered that Christopher Wray had to say about “domestic terrorism” today.
