(Verona Jones) New evidence suggests cowboys of the old west met Ancient Alien Astronauts during their travels. Stories of flying metal birds through-out the 1800s have been spoken of and pictographs drawn on rocks are indications that the old west may have been visited by ancient alien astronauts. Is it true?

In 2011, the movie Cowboys and Aliens made its auspicious debut. It was produced from a graphic novel written by Stephen Mitchell in 2006 which was then adapted into a film starring Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde. The story itself sparked new conversations amongst ancient astronaut theorists, and that inevitably lead to real investigations into the topic, most notably in an episode of Ancient Aliens.
In the Season 3 Premiere, ancient astronaut theorists cite specific events that took place in the late 1800s. Events they feel are proof that extraterrestrial beings did indeed visit America’s old west.
The sporadic sightings between 1830-1886 of a creature that is supposedly a pet of the devil himself, was just one of the strange things reported. Apparently, it lives at the bottom of Elizabeth Lake located right on the San Andreas fault line. The early Spanish called the lake Laguna Del Diablo because of the horrible monster that terrorized the ranchers for over fifty years.
Don Pedro Carillo, a Spaniard, built his ranch along the shores of the lake in 1830. Everything was fine for a few months but then one night every one of his structures caught fire, burning to the ground. The attacks escalated to where his animals were disappearing following the visit of a giant winged shadow passing over the ranchers at night. Combined with strange unnatural noises, visions, dreams, and other unexplained occurrences; ranchers kept away from settling on the nutrient-rich fertile land.
Ranchers claimed they’ve shot at the monster, but the bullets kept bouncing off the beast’s hide. With their ranch hands quitting and animals disappearing — the land was sold. Everyone just left shortly after. The land is reputed to be the most fertile land in the area so the sudden migration is strange.
Most paranormal enthusiasts are familiar with Tombstone, Arizona, and her haunted past. But what isn’t as well known is Tombstone’s extensive history of ancient alien activity.
On April 26, 1890, the Tombstone Epitaph reported that six local cowboys tracked down and shot a “Thunderbird” out of the sky. A picture of the beastie supposedly revealed that the bird looked a lot like the prehistoric Pterodactyl.
While tantalizing, there are a couple of issues with this report. Although photojournalism was created in 1880, there were no actual pictures of this bird available. At the same time, no physical evidence that the six gunslingers shot anything out of the sky exists.
Secondly, one of the surviving cowboys was later reported saying that their horses wouldn’t continue the chase — that the horses kept turning around — refusing to chase the metallic bird.
Today the myth is called the Tombstone Thunderbird. The name itself is interesting considering a Thunderbird is a legend from native tribes. The bird itself is rumored to have spewed fire and created a thunderous sound while flying.
It is still called today, the myth of the Tombstone Thunderbird. It is interesting to note, that they are calling it a Thunderbird – a legend from native tribes about a bird that spewed fire and sounded like thunder when it flew.
Last I heard Pterodactyl’s don’t spew fire or make noises like thunder when they flew. However, a spacecraft would seem to be a Thunderbird to our ancestors who didn’t have the vocabulary or knowledge to know what a spacecraft was or how to describe it. So is the Tombstone Thunderbird fact or fiction?

Ancient Aliens’ experts cite additional reports of visitations
Now the most interesting story happened on April 17, 1897 in the small town of Aurora, Texas. In the Dallas morning news, it was reported that early morning risers were treated to the sight of some strange airship flying low in the sky, at what can only be described as relatively slow speeds. It was thought by the writer the ship may have been experiencing some sort of mechanical issues to be flying at such low altitudes and slow speeds.
A thought that turned out to be true as the flying ship crashed into a windmill located on the property of a local town citizen, Judge Proctor. The accident caused the so-called flying ship to splinter into hundreds of pieces across the ranch. Interestingly enough, a small non-human body was found in the wreckage. It was given a proper ‘Christian’ burial in an unmarked grave, and rumor has it that Proctor buried the ships debris into a deep well on his land. There’s even a sign posted that describes the crash and how the alien pilot is buried in the cemetery.
The alien’s body has prompted multiple requests for the alien body to be dug up, in order to prove it is indeed an alien. The problem is the cemetery’s representatives refuse to have the body exhumed. This has led many skeptics to believe that the whole story was doctored.
If fake, it doesn’t explain what happened to one Brawley Oates. Oates purchased the property from Proctor in 1935 and supposedly cleaned the debris from the well. The same well that Proctor was rumored to have dumped the crashed spaceship’s debris in to.
Oates later developed health issues he states was caused by the contaminated water in the well. Contaminated by whatever metal the spacecraft was made from, he contracted a debilitating disease. He developed such a severe case of Arthritis that it eventually killed him, but not before he cemented the well in 1957. Coincidence or not?

What do these accounts reported on Ancient Aliens infer?
Three different stories from three different parts of the old west but containing very similar information and descriptions. All three stories talk about a strange bird where bullets bounce off its hide. A bird that spews fire and sounds like thunder in the sky when it flies.
Then you have the pictographs that were drawn upon rocks by the Southwestern tribes. Pictographs that depict birds and strange people wearing astronaut suits. Nearby tribes tell stories of how they came from Star people, adding more to the legends of extraterrestrials in the 1800s.
All circumstantial evidence on their own, but when each event is added to the next event like links on a chain? The myths begin to look a lot less like myths and more like reports of actual visitations by ancient astronauts to the wild west.

Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?
Unidentified Flying Objects or UFOs have captivated people for decades. The policy of investigative bodies has been to cover up legitimate reports and encounters. Despite officialdom’s mandate to suppress the truth, reports, anecdotal accounts, and declassified documents continue to spark the curiosity of those who take these things seriously. The preceding information provides food for thought regarding the reality of UFOs and what they might mean. This information is beneficial to consider because it expands ones thinking via the exploration of mystery. A mind captivated by mystery has the power to make leaps and bounds in soul growth, due to the powerful urge to seek the truth resulting in changes to the substructures of being. Thus, a mystery is arguably the best activator for the individual, quickening the mind and stimulating the soul. This information also helps dispel the false reality pushed by the Deep State, which is critically important for the activation of the freedom and justice urges.

It must be true they made the film about it, very good too.
Its so we dont get too frightened and panic, you know ”we cant handle the truth” and after ALL the sci fi films we have been shown and horrors, we can handle a few landings I am sure.
I can only think it has been done because the aliens are NOT aggressive as they keep telling us…. shoot first and ask questions latter, The Amerikan way of dealing with strangers or its people. Ask any friendly cop.. sorry I meant Militarised cop
