While the ease of connectivity is cool, the major downside (to some) seems to be a shift from a focus on building a genuine relationship to locating a quick f*** buddy. It’s an interesting reality to be a part of to say the least, and it’s hard to believe the new style of dating isn’t a major contributor to marriage rates hitting an all-time low in the United States.
As a hopeless romantic at heart, I was happy to come across a series of cartoons that play on the seemingly shrinking perspective on love. The collection was put together by the wonderful people at Brightside outlining the difference between real love and passion. Here are the 15 images with my takeaways from them:

We’ve all experienced dates like this at some point in our lives. Not being able to keep your hands off one another is always a fun part of every new relationship, but you know it’s love when you are able to pick your spots and know that it will be worth your while (and more comfortable for others) when that time comes.
