(Staff Writer) In 2018, President Donald Trump declared a national emergency that is still in effect today, via Executive Order (EO) on “Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election.”

In the executive order, The President recognized that “foreign powers have historically sought to exploit America’s free and open political system” and declared a national emergency to deal with it in future elections. Through this executive order, the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), John Ratcliffe, “shall conduct an assessment of any information indicating that a foreign government, or any person acting as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign government, has acted with the intent or purpose of interfering in that election.”
In summary, the DNI must produce a report to The President within 45 days of the November 3rd election that identifies which foreign powers are interfering in United States elections. It also allows severe penalties against those found to have committed the crimes and those who helped them. The report specifically mentions election infrastructure, tabulation, transmission of results, falsification or alteration of data:
- i) the extent to which any foreign interference that targeted election infrastructure materially affected the security or integrity of that infrastructure, the tabulation of votes, or the timely transmission of election results; and
(ii) if any foreign interference involved activities targeting the infrastructure of, or pertaining to, a political organization, campaign, or candidate, the extent to which such activities materially affected the security or integrity of that infrastructure, including by unauthorized access to, disclosure or threatened disclosure of, or alteration or falsification of, information or data.
It has now been 45 days since the November 3rd election and there is still no report. This is because DNI has been stone-walled by the other defense and intelligence agencies who are required to contribute to this 45-day report. They appear to be packed with deep-state swamp creatures who do not wish to name China and other actors in the report or mention the massive election interference of this election.
However, there is hope. The report also allows for the DNI or any other agency listed to submit a report of their own, independent of the 45-day cumulative report:
(d) Nothing in this order shall prevent the head of any agency or any other appropriate official from tendering to the President, at any time through an appropriate channel, any analysis, information, assessment, or evaluation of foreign interference in a United States election.
Combine this with the fact that DNI John Ratcliffe this week has been speaking out despite the stonewalling by other defense and intelligence agencies to block the 45-day report. In an interview with CBS news, he stated that “China, Iran, and Russia” all contributed to massive “foreign election interference” in November 2020. Will his personal analysis be used as enough evidence by President Trump to act on his emergency order prior to the delayed release date of the 45-page DNI report, now expected “sometime in January?”
Time is of the essence, since the set January 20th inauguration date is approaching, and other election milestones keep passing by.
Many conservatives and patriots recognize the coup taking place in America against the will of the people during this election. They hope that Donald Trump will act imminently on this report or utilize the powers of the insurrection act. If Donald Trump should act on this emergency order and issue sanctions or other aggressive measures against America’s adversaries and their confederates, other directives will likely follow to alert the American people. Such actions are likely to cause quite a turmoil that may lead to more serious effects, domestically and globally.
How will America’s hundreds of millions of citizens be guaranteed to get necessary information of such important news?
If this happens, it is very likely that the president would utilize a little-known Presidential Alert System called the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS). It was tested for its first and only time back on October 3rd of 2018. “In the event of an actual emergency, the Presidential Alert will include information about the emergency and instructions for how to respond and stay safe.”
So, the Executive Order declaring a national emergency regarding our elections, discussed above, was signed on September 12, 2018. The emergency alert system was first scheduled to be tested on September 20, 2018, just one week later (though it was delayed to October 3rd due to Hurricane Florence).
Many people do not believe this is a coincidence. They believe that President Trump was fully aware of the global threat against our elections since at least 2018. They also believe he fully intends to use this alert system, soon, to notify the American people of any crisis that arises or bold actions he may take following official reports from the DNI and/or compelling evidence throughout our battleground states that suggest that the election was ‘stolen.’
