I admire anyone who has the courage to come out of their spiritual closet and speak their truths about what spiritual awakening is and what it means to them.
It’s easy for any one of us to do, but more difficult when you’re on a larger platform.
Imagine a television station such as CNN or NBC talking about consciousness instead of persistent fear mongering? Their main jobs are to cultivate the narrative for any given agenda, thus guiding the direction of the collective consciousness (or should I say, unconscious?).
When someone has a large platform and risks everything they perceive to be real to stand in their truth regarding their spiritual awakening, it definitely gets my attention.
New video footage has arisen showing how actor/comedian Jim Carrey is using his huge platform to further the awakening process in an interview on The Wrap. Unfortunately, the interviewer was completely clueless about the awakening process:
At one point in the video, he states, “But how do we market it?” as a tribute to the late Bill Hicks.
Carrey’s spiritual awakening can even be paralleled to Hick’s spiritual philosophies:
I’m sure most of you will thoroughly enjoy the following video:
What Carrey says is not only his truth, but the truth for many readers on in5d.com.
Jim is arguably one of the funniest comedians of our time but he also has a serious side to his perceived self/ego that began with his spiritual awakening.
Carrey once stated, “The effect you have on others is the most valuable currency there is because ultimately, we are not the avatars we create. We are not pictures on the film stock. We are the light that shines through. All else is just smoke and mirrors, distracting but not truly compelling.”
“Our eyes are not viewers, they’re also projectors that are running a 2nd story over the picture that we see in front of us all the time. Fear is writing that script and the working title is, “I’ll never be enough.” I’m just making a conscious choice to perceive challenges as something beneficial so that I can deal with them in the most productive way.”
“I woke up and I suddenly got it. I understood suddenly how thought was just an illusory thing and how thought is responsible for all, if not most, of the suffering we experience. And then, I suddenly felt like I was looking at these thoughts from another perspective and I wondered, ‘Who is it that’s aware that I’m thinking?’. And suddenly, I was thrown into this expansive, amazing feeling of freedom from myself, from my problems… I saw that I was bigger that what I do. I was bigger than my body. I was everything and everyone. I was no longer a fragment of the Universe. I WAS the Universe.”
Jim has experienced losing friends who don’t understand the awakening process. That same experience led me to writing an article, “So, Your Spiritual Awakening Cost You Some Friends“.
“By losing some fringe people that can’t deal with the fact that there’s other forces in the world, that’s okay with me.”
Me too, and you as well…
Jim even addresses the Fake News mainstream media by saying, “We live on a planet where we’re very crammed together and I think we do really well. It’s just that when we watch the news and we watch entertainment, it’s about people’s conflicts tied together in the most exciting possible way (sensationalism) and you imagine that the world is this most explosive, horrifying place. And the news is all this negativity condensed and it’s really not representative of what the world is or wants.”
I’ve been addressing the importance of where we place our thoughts and intentions because they are creating our perceived reality every millisecond. The bottom line is that none of what we are experiencing is “real” because it’s simply our consciousness experiencing and projecting this “reality” as individuals, yet our collective consciousness, combined, is writing the script for everything we need to experience.
Jim stated, “Our intention is everything. Nothing happens on this planet without it. Not one single thing has ever been accomplished without intention.”
As always, please remember to:
Maintain a high vibration.
Sending you all infinite LOVE and LIGHT,
