(Stillness in the Storm Editor) The term Isis has been spoken more and more of late, often times being associated with an alleged Islamic terrorist group. The 2015 Paris attack on Friday the 13th is one such example. But within occult circles in government and power, as well as those well versed in the spiritual symbolism of antiquity, thousands of years Isis has been associated with the divine goddess, the mother of all creation or all that is “becoming.”
The following article, sheds light on the historical usage and meaning of the divine goddess symbol, and how the Statue of Liberty represents one form of the Goddess Isis. But before we begin this exploration of history, we should first understand the transformative nature of the goddess archetype, and how it is a reflection of the consciousness of humanity as a whole.
We discussed the basis for this in the post Divine Feminine in Distress – She is waiting for your Divine Masculine!
The appellations of the goddess of creation are: ISIS, the Divine Feminine, The Mother, the Holy Spirit, the Dove, the Lamb and so on, which all refer to the feminine aspect of creation. The goddess is not a person in the traditional sense, she is an archetype of the creative receptive principle of Care, as described by Mark Passio. The divine goddess is the perfect guiding force that nurtures our moral spiritual nature, the evolving soul. By contrast, the goddess in general, can take on negative aspects because it is derived from the collective unconscious of humanity, as has been described by some. In essence, if we are dark, immoral, and uncaring of the good, then it can take on dark overtones as a symbolic force, due to the shadow state within each of us. This is a classic interpretation of these symbols and archetypes.
The Principle of Care refers to the tendency of consciousness to create that which it finds value in, that which we care about. If we truly and completely desire peace, honesty and fairness, then these things will be manifested in all our pursuits. Similarly, if we care about death, destruction and oppression, then those are the fruits that will be generated.
The goddess is a type of cosmic mirror or reflectivity mechanism for each embodiment of consciousness in totality. What we desire as individuals and as a collective human race manifests in the world and reveals to us the spiritual character of our choices. And when humanity as a whole falls into deep darkness, then the goddess becomes the evil queen of destruction—because that is what we’ve become—depicted in many of the works cited by Moe in the below article. This darker variant of the goddess actually expresses itself as subconscious alters that come online during trauma, or when we feel attacked, the so called shadow self. It also comes online during groupthink or mob modes of being, like during wartime when men and women can engage in all manner of brutality.
But why would the supposed goddess of love and creation allow herself to become a symbol of evil? This question is at the heart of why the powers that be use the term ISIS to refer to a terrorist group, and how free will and Natural Law mingle to form the world we see today.
The Great Work of Alchemy is a slow progressive up stepping of consciousness as a function of truth receptivity, made possible by a free will choice. Natural Law is essentially the “rules” of creation, the guidelines that the higher divine Goddess is attempting to teach her creations. And like any wise instructor knows that the student cannot be forced to learn new things, the teacher can only show the student the path, but the student must make the choice to walk it. Until humanity chooses to seek the wisdom of the divine goddess, she will allow humanity to wander aimlessly, smashing themselves on the shallow shores of ignorance and self-imposed destruction. In our wandering, we have the opportunity to grow and find the light again, hence the Columbia Pictures symbol of the goddess holding the lamplight, attempting to light our path back to divine wisdom.
The symbol for the goddess which recognizes that humanity is lost in darkness, is the feminine in distress depiction. The Statute of Liberty is one such example, with her book of wisdom in hand, the crown of light atop of head, and a torch of light held high with her right hand. She is the keeper of lost wisdom and the guide for lost souls. Who might be these lost souls? Well, frankly, that us. While some of us are not as lost as others, the whole of humanity is lost, and we who have the light must play our part in uplifting our fellows. She is “distressed” because the whole of humanity has forgotten their role and place in the universe.

Notice that the goddess has no male counterpart. In Natural Law, the principle of Gender refers to the active and passive archetypes of creation. Within the human mind, these are expressed as the passive unconscious mind and the active conscious mind. The Principle of Care essentially refers to the masculine aspect of desire and action; what we care about is what we take actions to create for ourselves. But if we do not care about truth, wisdom, or goodness, then this will be symbolically depicted as the absence of a male figure next to the feminine archetype of the goddess. This is how the preceding symbolic depiction works.
In other words, within each of us there are both the masculine and feminine aspects of consciousness, and when we seek wisdom, this activates the masculine counterpart to the goddess. The divine masculine and divine feminine nature within us become one, and generate the fruits of the spirit; wisdom or true knowledge.
So what role does the ISIS terrorist group play in all this?
Recall that the goddess has so much love for her children, the souls of creation, that she will allow them to lose themselves in darkness. Her unconditional love is so strong she will allow us to explore ignorance so that we recognize the value of knowledge. And she is always standing with her torch in hand, trying to show us the errors of our ways. And while this might not seem all that loving to you, recall that free will is the highest law in creation, thus, the only thing keeping us in darkness is our own choice. She won’t force us to come back to her, we have to willingly choose that.
By all accounts, the alleged terrorist group known as ISIS or ISIL are creations of the Cabal or Illuminati via the CIA.

The seeming goal of this effort is to manipulate the willfully ignorant masses into progressively oppressive and tyrannical social policies so as to become willing slaves for despotic elites. Willing slaves have forsaken the divine goddess, and are now putting their consciousness energy into the dark goddess, the dark Isis worshiped by the powers that be. This is literally true if one can comprehend the psychological laws at work in the human archetypal mind. And since this program of manipulation can only flourish on the soil of ignorance, the cosmos offers us a path back to wisdom over long periods of time by awakening the masculine nature within by the universal mechanism of pain.
Pain is a sensation of discomfort which reorients consciousness so as to gain awareness of the thing causing the dis-ease (pain), providing an influx of data to empower the mind with truth, so as to change the self and transcend the pain. If we accidentally burn our hand because we were ignorant of how hot a tea glass was, this experience will compel us to be more careful in the future. Pain, in this way is a product of unawareness or ignorance, the goddess’s way of showing us a lack of wisdom, providing an offer to gain knowledge by choosing to know the truth. Once we know the truth, and act with wisdom, we no longer feel the pain of mistakes.
In this way, the ISIS group is acting as a painful experience so that humanity as a whole can muster the courage to seek the truth, take back their power, and do the work that needs to be done to fix the situation. This is a type of cosmic initiation, a grand alchemy of consciousness whereby each being finds within themselves the courage to face the truth of their own errors and seek knowledge so as to act wisely in the future.
And this Great Work is a group effort, a familial bond of the children of spirit, a divine fellowship of loving service for the benefit of all.
In summary, we feel pain and suffer when we refuse to play by the rules of creation. You might not want to hear that, but it’s the truth. The same truth the divine goddess archetype is working tirelessly to teach us. The sooner we embrace this truth, the sooner all our burdens in this world will be easier to bear.
