The materialist theories of science, the Standard Model, Relativity and the like, are beginning to be disproved with recent observations. The acolytes of such theories, per their own writings, are desperately trying to develop ad hoc and revissionist corrections to a fundamentally flawed theory.
The key problem with materialism is the assumption that matter is independent of space-time, which has never been experimentally proven. We recently posted an excellent expose on the topic The Virtual Aether – “Empty Space” Gets an Upgrade – “Einstein acknowledged the necessity for aether”.
The light amid this darkness of differing theories, is that reality itself does not change. Our perception of it may vary, the theories and explanations we develop change and expand constantly. As such, each theory can offer a measure of validity depending on how it is evaluated and what context it applies to.
The below information helps provide the leyman with data demonstrating modern science has much to learn. The educational system and the media would have us believe modern science has it all figured out, but clearly this is not the case.

The rebooted Large Hadron Collider is facing a delay of days or even weeks, after a short circuit was detected in one of its powerful electromagnets.
Following a two-year break, the LHC is getting ready to smash protons together once again – at new, higher energies.
Before the collisions begin, proton beams must travel safely around its 27km circumference in both directions.
Those full laps were expected to begin this week, but that plan will now be revised.
Cern, the European nuclear research organisation which runs the LHC, said the “intermittent short circuit” was discovered on Saturday.
It affected one of the magnets that will eventually send protons racing around the LHC – specifically a magnet in “sector 3-4”.
Nearby, sector 4-5 of the machine – the area which triggered a more eventful false start when the LHC first commenced operations in 2008 – had already been lagging behind the other seven in the gradual “training” process that the magnets must go through.
But the short circuit is a more serious problem, in terms of the delay it could impose on the restart.
Cern said it was “a well understood issue”, but because the magnets are supercooled to temperatures approaching absolute zero (-273C), the repair could be time-consuming…
Scientists at Cern emphasised that the restart timetable was always flexible and that Run Two of the world’s largest machine is still on target.
March 2015 – GENEVA – The staggeringly complex LHC ‘atom smasher’ at the CERN centre in Geneva, Switzerland, will be fired up to its highest energy levels ever in a bid to detect – or even create – miniature black holes. If successful a completely new universe will be revealed – rewriting not only the physics books but the philosophy books too. It is even possible that gravity from our own universe may ‘leak’ into this parallel universe, scientists at the LHC say. The experiment is sure to inflame alarmist critics of the LHC, many of whom initially warned the high energy particle collider would spell the end of our universe with the creation a black hole of its own. But so far Geneva remains intact and comfortably outside the event horizon. Indeed the LHC has been spectacularly successful. First scientists proved the existence of the elusive Higgs boson ‘God particle’ – a key building block of the universe – and it is seemingly well on the way to nailing ‘dark matter’ – a previously undetectable theoretical possibility that is now thought to make up the majority of matter in the universe.

But next week’s experiment is considered to be a game changer. Mir Faizal, one of the three-strong team of physicists behind the experiment, said: “Just as many parallel sheets of paper, which are two dimensional objects [breadth and length] can exist in a third dimension [height], parallel universes can also exist in higher dimensions. We predict that gravity can leak into extra dimensions, and if it does, then miniature black holes can be produced at the LHC.” Normally, when people think of the multi-verse, they think of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, where every possibility is actualized. “This cannot be tested and so it is philosophy and not science. This is not what we mean by parallel universes. What we mean is real universes in extra dimensions.”

“As gravity can flow out of our universe into the extra dimensions, such a model can be tested by the detection of mini black holes at the LHC. We have calculated the energy at which we expect to detect these mini black holes in ‘gravity’s rainbow’ [a new scientific theory]. If we do detect mini black holes at this energy, then we will know that both gravity’s rainbow and extra dimensions are correct.” When the LHC is fired up the energy is measured in Tera electron volts – a TeV is 1,000,000,000,000, or one trillion, electron Volts. So far, the LHC has searched for mini black holes at energy levels below 5.3 TeV. But the latest study says this is too low. Instead, the model predicts that black holes may form at energy levels of at least 9.5 TeV in six dimensions and 11.9 TeV in 10 dimensions. –Express UK
Timelapse: LHC experiments prepare for restart
(Video: CERN)The LHC is preparing to restart at almost double the collision energy of its previous run. The new energy will allow physicists to check previously untestable theories, and explore new frontiers in particle physics.
In the video above, engineers and technicians prepare these four detectors to receive the showers of particles that will be created in collisions at energies of 13 TeV. The giant endcaps of the ATLAS detector are back in position and the wheels of the CMS detector are moving it back into its “closed” configuration. The huge red door of the ALICE experiment is closed up ready for restart, and the access door to the LHC tunnel is sealed with concrete blocks.
