On the afternoon of November 17, 2013 a series of strong storms broke out across Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Michigan. Illinois received the brunt of the damage. Saint Louis Missouri (on the Western edge of the storm front) received damaging winds, and light hail. I was out driving in the storm when it hit. Gusts up to 60mph in some areas. A lot of blowing debris, and heavy rain accompanied these gusts. Location: South St. Louis, MO — 1130am CT
